Loved this hotel!!! Great staff, very helpful and very very friendly in a B&B fashion. The building is over 100 years old and is very cool. Loved the furniture and the whole vibe. Great quiet residential street yet only a couple of walking minutes away from restaurants of Adam's Morgan. Highly recommend it!
I only give out 1 or 5 star ratings- Maybe 2 in special cases- Because decisions should be easy. We had a bathroom down the hall, which was ours but also shared, kind of, as the only one outside of a room on the first floor. The inn was quiet, and the staff was friendly. We slept well, Nutella and very decent jam is served at breakfast. VAccessible via the metrobus circulator.
We found the accommodations exactly what we wanted and were promised. They were able to handle a last minute additional night and were easy to deal with. It was a little pricey to park there, but well worth it!
The Adam's Inn is a great place to stay in Adams Morgan. They were accommodating and friendly. We booked the carriage house, it was clean, quiet (super quiet) and suited our needs for the weekend. The wifi worked perfectly. Being in a separate building was perfect for us as we were in and out frequently. Traveling with a toddler can be tough, the owner offered us a stroller and the cleaning staff was on point. The Adam's Inn is one of the only B&B's in the area that would accept toddlers. This place is not perfect; some of the renovations are not completed, and some of the staff is apathetic. All in all though I would totally return. Access to Rock Creek Park is great. As a cyclist this place is situated perfectly to check out the cycling trails in the area, and would make a great start to a C&O canal trip. As a parent close proximity to the zoo was sweet. You can't beat the places to eat in the area. Reserve your parking early if you are driving in, parking in the area sucks, having a garage to park in was priceless. The staff let me store my bicycle before check in, and after check out. Ohh yea as many peppermint patties as you can eat, nutella every morning at breakfast, that's something you can't complain about. I can't wait to come back to DC and when I do I will be staying at the Adam's Inn again.
I definitely recommend the Adam’s Inn to anyone looking for a place to stay in Northwest Washington, D.C.! I love the Inn so much that I actually had my wedding there last Columbus Day Weekend (October 12, 2013). It was the PERFECT location for our backyard, D.C. wedding and a great gathering spot for our family and friends. After we got engaged, my fiancé and I set out to find a small venue to host our 60-70 person wedding. We live in the Adams Morgan neighborhood and had passed by the Inn frequently, so we decided to reach out to them about hosting our fall wedding. For us, it was a wonderful location with a great backyard and accommodations for our out of town family and friends. The staff at the Inn were fantastic! We met with them throughout the year to plan our wedding details, and they communicated with our vendors to make sure everything was in place for our big day. Unfortunately, it rained like crazy the weekend of our wedding, and a lot of last minute changes needed to be made. The Inn was incredible flexible and accommodating! The owner, Adam, made sure that everything was in place for us and worked to make it as nice as possible despite the uncooperative weather. In the end, we had a beautiful wedding and an incredibly fun event for our family and friends. In addition to hosting our wedding in the backyard, we also stayed at the Inn for the weekend. We rented out one of the houses as well at the carriage house and stayed with our family and friends. This was such a fun way to get to see all of our out of town guests! It was also nice to have everyone in one location. The Inn itself is adorable and so comfortable! It’s so clean and homey. As I said above, all of the staff are very friendly and helpful which took away some of our wedding weekend stress! If you are coming to D.C., you should definitely check out the Adam’s Inn. It’s close to public transportation as well as a ton of fun restaurants and bars. It is located on Lanier Place which is a quiet neighborhood. I cannot say enough good things about this location!
