I currently live here in building 1440 and cant wait for our lease to be up and leave. When our dishwasher broke down, it took them 3-4 weeks to get us a new one. The building is made of wood so if you're not on the 3rd floor, you hear EVERYTHING. Which isn't a big problem because that's part of living in an apartment; your neighbors are very close to you. I just wish that was understood by everyone! I've lived in 4 different apartments in the last 9 years and have never been considered a loud/inconsiderate tenant, but here I've had the people call the cops on us 4 times all because my son is playing a video game or if he runs out of his room into the living because he beat his last score or something and wants to tell us about it. He is an only child and is probably the most tame/calm 6 yr old you will ever meet. So its not like he's rolling around on the floor or kicking and screaming (he's never thrown any sort of tantrum). But we would get complaints/get the cops called on us at 6 o'clock in the evening or noon on Saturday and Sundays. If it were before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m. that would be a different story, but we're supposed to be careful when we walk around our own apartment during afternoon/evening times??? We know some other people who moved in before us and got a noise complaint & eviction notice the DAY THEY MOVED IN because they were being loud. Moving-in is no quiet task. They always wait 2 days to plow when its snows which gets everyone stuck in the parking lot because the lots are very small and tight. Spacious and bright apartments, but definitely the worse place I have ever lived. If you have even 1 child, do not move here. The property managers must not like their jobs here either because we've only been here 8 months and have gone through 3 different property managers. That's saying something in itself.

Lived in Apt 203 Bldg 2201 for 3 years X-( moving out finally. The carpet here never gets replaced. Which is why after we moved in carpet stains started to show within a few months. During our stay we had several uninvited guests... the occasional spider and often centipede yes but also several mice and unrealized outbreak of bedbugs. My poor son we had no idea at first why he had red dots all over his body we thought at first he had an allergic reaction to something maybe the detergent we used. Then we noticed red spots on his plain colored bed sheet which we found out was his blood. I found at least a hundred of the nasty critters under the bed skirt waiting to feast on my little boy. I ended up throwing his whole bed out. We heard from a tenant who lived here previously that they also had a problem with bedbugs and management denies and ignores all of these complaints. The other thing we know cant be good is the water. If you run hot water for a second and most often even cold water into a glass you will see these specks of black floating tar like substance. Make sure you filter all the water as i'm pretty sure the pipes are old and falling to pieces. While staying here our last year water leaked thru the brick wall and caused black mold to appear under the paint of our bedroom wall. This mold was everywhere and the paint was cracking and falling off exposing the mold right where we slept. It took them weeks to have someone come out and just paint over it. I know that black mold is still hidden under there and there are still some very fine cracks in the paint. Pretty sure its only a matter of time before it comes back. Finally some lady crashed into 3 garage stalls and the apartment complex does not have insurance to fix them. I recommend that anyone look for a better place to live. This place seems unsafe and unhealthy. It may look nice at first and is quiet most often but is it worth it in the long run. NO! Also when you finally do move out they will bring loads of traffic thru your apartment for 2 months before your move out date whether you want them to or not. Seems very rude IMO. I don't know why I put up with this place for so long I just hate moving I guess. ( I copied and pasted my post over every apartment rating site because I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the apartment and management and I don't want to have to retype this over and over.)

When I moved in the management said there was new carpet to be put in the building and on the balcony. I complained that they were both ragges. They did not do as promised. They also said there were gas grills on the property. Not true. They put me in a garage that had 2 inches of water in it in the spring...ruined some items I had on the floor. When I complained and wanted to relocate to another stall they dragged their feet for 2 months until I wrote them a formal letter saying I wasn't going to pay them & take me off the lease. I had to shovel water out on a daily basis and ran 3 fans 24x7 and it stillwouldn't dry. I eventually moved, but into another garage with water issues.... The management allowed the tenant below me to complain about everything. The first night I moved in I was up until midnight. He complained the very next day to management and I got a nasty note! I am not a loud, obnoxious person. This person brought up a list for me of times I could clean, use the garbage disposal, run the vacuum, , use the disk washer, watch TV, etc! He worked nights! I kid you not. I had called management, but still kept getting nasty notes until I wrote a formal letter. The constructon of the building is wood frame...so if you aren't on the third floor you will hear everything. It is a no smoking building...I don't smoke, but there is a smoking can right out side the front door. However, people in the building kept complaining so much that everyone got a nasty gram about having smoking visitors stand 25 feet from the building to smoke. The same people in the building are always complaining. You get a nasty note for EVERYTHING. Leaving your boots outside your apartment door on a snowy winter day...for parking your car too much over the sidewalk, for putting anything in the garbage can in the laundry room. I kid you not. This also kills me....when you leave you have to have a professional service clean the carpet! Can you believe this...you need to hand in the receiptto prove it was cleaned professionally. This is just the tip of the ice berg. These are lovely apartments.... very spacious.... I would love to stay here....but I have had enough of the management. I will write the company a letter when I leave...but am afraid to contact them now for fear of retaliation by onsite management. I could go on and on....I have adheared to every issue, been quiet, careful about walking too much over the floor, careful how I park my car, careful to leave the laundry room immaculate, ....but enough is enough!! This is nuts..... I met some nice people here...but most of them are moving out for the same reasons I am. When you have to walk around your own apartment on pins and needles something is wrong. I encourage you to find another place to live..stay away!
