I went to this "housing center" and signed up, waited, and a few ppl came in after me. There was this single wht chick who signed up as well and a blk dude trying to fill out the paperwork (for two hours) when it came to call ppl to talk about finding a place the chick was called first, after a 45 minute wait. then we were called and were rushed through (no sh*t) the process in about 15 minutes and given some crappy listing on Austin ave. Really? Well I did not go back. Now fast forward, I get an email from them wanting to know how our search is doing "the information will help their non-profit" really? MONTHS LATER??? Plus they GAVE ME a DEADLINE to get back to them! LOL Please past this up and do the work I got me a better place on my own than with this place,

This was our 2nd time going to the OP Regional Housing Center to help us look for a place. It was great that they give you a worksheet which helped you understand how much you could afford (max) with your income. Plus they sit down with you and ensure that theyre finding place that are within your budget AND meet all your requirements. The 1st time we went to see them they had the keys to quite a few apartments so we were able to see many of them and applied for an apartment that day. Best experience ever. Very nice people, overall a great experience. If we need to rent again, we will surely go to them.

We used them when we first moved to Oak Park. They did a great job finding us an apartment. The staff is very dedicated.

This place is great. They embrace diversity and equality for the Oak Park area. The staff is super nice, and they helped me find the types of places I requested, suggested areas (she) they knew I would like, have me a neighborhood brochure, and printed a list of potential apartments. Lucky for me, they helped me find my current place! You can tell they are passionate about what they do and where they live!
