I totally recommend UTA. The quality of the education is very good, the lab is equipped with all the necessary machines to perform the demonstration experiments for undergrads students, also it is very active in the research that why so many graduate students are there. May be some programs are not good enough that why some people wrote bad comments. However, the engineering school in UTA is one of the best in Texas, I believe UTA has been ranked as 3rd good school in Texas. Loved it for sure.

Advisors have no clue what's going on and have wasted thousands of dollars for be by placing me in classes not relating to my major. Go to UT Dallas instead, they actually know what's up and are far more helpful. Love the campus over there better too.

I applied for an online RN to BSN program in June and I STILL have been unable to speak to a human being about WHY they have not received my transcript after sending it 3 times (at $25.00 per transcript). THIS HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I have been unable to start my new position at work because of the delay. I would strongly suggest you RUN from this school. They are unorganized and unhelpful and it is impossible to speak to a human there that knows what is going on. I will be applying to a new school despite all the money I have dumped into applying and sending transcripts. It is a true reflection on how they value their students.

I have gotten nothing but trouble from UTA. It has been a horrible, horrible experience. If you are expecting to apply to this school, register for classes, and go to school, just like you would at any other normal university--please don't be fooled. It doesn't go that way at UTA. The admissions process in general will take about twice as long as anywhere else (and I would know, because this is the 3rd college I've attended in my college career). If you submit forms, (transcripts, etc.) they may or may not receive them, so you may end up submitting forms three or even four times, and if you're as lucky as I was, you may have to physically bring the documents into the office before they acknowledge that they have them, so just be prepared for their lack of communication and complete and utter disorganization. Registering for classes was just one nightmare after another. I had trouble registering for classes after orientation, so I was told to call the admissions office. No problem, right? They should be able to give me some kind of resolution/answer and take care of the problem so I can register, right? Wrong. I was given the run around THREE TIMES by THREE separate people from the admissions office, and each time I spoke with someone, they gave me a different answer to my problem, and said there was nothing more they could do about it than what they were doing. Each time I got a new answer, at the end of the conversation they would say "it will take about 3-5 business days for this to reflect in our system.", tacking on an additional 3-5 days to the time I had to wait to register for classes. So much for the class schedule, and even the 3 backup class schedules, I had planned so carefully to align with my work schedule. The classes that you need fill up so extraordinarily quickly that unless you are able to register just the SECOND that you can, you won't get into those classes. So, thanks to the fact that I've had to wait an additional TWO WEEKS just to register for classes, I may have to quit my dream job just to take the classes I'm supposed to take. If I hadn't called the last time when I did, I would STILL be waiting for things to "reflect in their system", when in fact that was completely incorrect, come to find out, and there were other things that had to be done. And the explanation I received from the last woman I spoke with? "I'm sorry, the last two people you spoke with gave you the wrong information." ...and they are allowed to do that? I'm sorry, but this has cost me greatly, and I do have a problem with being unapologetically screwed over by the university I'm paying thousands and thousands of dollars to attend. I am so over it, UTA. Get it the heck together or I'm out of here. There are plenty of other universities in the area that actually have their **** together that I can attend.
