Finding a place to live off campus can be daunting. There are a lot of options out there and who has time to look at the all? We suggest you consider McCauley Trail. These two and three bedroom townhomes have all been recently renovated and are a short walk or bike ride to campus and downtown.

McCauley Trail is located near the corner of Cameron Avenue and Merritt Mill Road and, if needed, on a main route of the Chapel Hill bus line. So, don’t worry about being late to class or brunch with your friends at the Brewery. That should never be a problem if you live at McCauley Trail! The name comes from a well-worn trail (walking and biking friendly) that starts at the parking lot and opens up McCauley Street only yards away. The Pit and other points on campus are just a short walk or bike ride away.

All the units at McCauley Trail are spacious townhome style. We have 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom floor plans with either 1.5 baths or 2 full baths. Each townhome has beautiful hardwood flooring that runs throughout the living room and kitchen. All the bedrooms have plush carpeting to keep you comfortable after a long day walking around campus.

The kitchens feature faux granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Some of the floor plans have large islands to give you additional countertop space.

Every townhome comes with a washer/dryer so there will be no more trips to the basement laundry room at midnight or driving across town to the laundromat. There are also two reserved parking spaces for each unit.
