The people that own Denway Circle Apartments (Princeton Management..whomever that is) and the manager Judy are crooks, frauds, and liars. First, Denway advertises free heat, HOWEVER FROM THE MONTHS OF NOVEMBER-APRIL, YOU PAY $25 TO OFF-SET THE COST TO HEAT THE HALLWAYS, which means you pay for heat. Second, the boilers for the heat are not turned on until November (the month you start paying for heat). Since we had a cold snap in October, the boilers were not turned on because Judy had not deemed it cold enough to turn them on. As it got down into the 30s at night, my apartment was below 60 degrees. It was freezing! I was instructed to throw an extra blanket on the bed or buy a plug-in heater (oh, and we pay for electric so what a nice suggestion). Third, they are refusing to put salt down on the ice. There is at least an inch of ice on all of the sidewalks, parking areas, and anything not covered by grass. It is a skating rink and they are refusing to salt. As for the management, Judy instructed me to leave my apartment UNLOCKED and UNSECURED and she would lock it for me instead of issuing me another key. The neighbors here and loud, noisy, and have no respect for the people living in the same building. Both the front door and the fire doors slam, and the neighbors do nothing to catch them from banging closed. As for the pet policy, your neighbors complain to the management that your pet is barking instead of telling you about it, so you never know about the problem until you receive a letter in the mail saying that if it continues, THEY WILL REMOVE YOUR PET WHEN YOU ARE NOT THERE. For the same price or a comparable price, you can find a much nicer, updated, property instead of this hellhole. I CANNOT WARN YOU ENOUGH TO NOT CHOOSE DENWAY!
