My wife and I have lived here for nearly seven years. Office management is always friendly and very professional, maintenance requests are fulfilled usually within 24hrs, emergencies are always seen too immediately unless it's after-hours and even then it's taken care of first thing the next day. Trash pick up is 75% dependable, the landscaping is done on an almost daily basis, people here (usually) pick up after their pets, and their isn't a lot of noisy children or obnoxious, loud tenants next door. My only complaint is he forced COX cable. Other than that, I see no reason to own a home or any of its hassles.

Originally had posted a great review for this place because I had had what I thought was a great experience here. My roommate and I had to leave the state last minute for work and had to cancel our lease. Signed all necessary documents with Christina and made the necessary arrangements to pay the 60 days of rent back. When the time comes to pay it back, it wouldn't let me make a payment online. Upon calling the office to figure out why, I am informed that Christina had gone through the ENTIRE eviction process without my knowledge or my roommate's. Her reason for doing this is because when we left, we never called to tell her where we had set our keys in our apartment. (Which I may add were right on the counter.) Really?! How hard would it have been for her to pick up the phone and call and ask us where we set our keys? Having never been late on rent, and after having such a wonderful experience beforehand I was appalled that somebody in her position could be so incredibly lazy that she would rather go through an eviction procedure rather than call us to ask where we set our keys. I would never recommend this place to anybody. Hopefully the rest of the Camden company does not do their business like Camden San Paloma did. And the other 5 star comment below mine is my roommate's from when we moved out. Both of us had nothing but great things to say until this experience which unfortunately ruins any other positive experience we may have had with Camden.

Had an amazing experience with Camden! Jeff and Christina in the office were always so helpful and cheery! Zero problems with maintenance requests and any complaints were taken care of promptly. Beautiful, spacious apartments... stunning kitchens for a great cost, especially for the Scottsdale area!! I would definitely recommend Camden to a friend!

Decent place to live, great location, however add about $105 on top of rent per month for mandatory "valet waste", COX "TV charges" (before you even sign up for an account), and a "$20 home owners fee" which is all total BS. Also, living in a complex like this costs a lot of $ to get out of your lease early so keep that in mind. However, I really like the maintenance guys, they show up immediately and are really nice and helpful.

I'm just about finished with my one-year lease with San Paloma, and it was a good experience. The front office was always welcoming and helpful, though I honestly can't remember having any maintenance issues. The apartment was immaculate when I moved it, and all of the appliances were new. The granite countertops were a nice touch. When I moved in, it was the exact balance of luxury and price I was looking for. People have complained about the added fees for trash and non-negotiable TV, but they're up front about everything right away. The trash valet is sort of pointless (I've only used it once or twice in the last year), but it creates jobs and I'm sure many people have taken full advantage of it. I wish they'd switch to high speed internet being included instead of TV. Really, I'd probably stay another year if they hadn't increased their rates so much. Going from $850 to over $1000 a month for a one bed/one bath is a rather steep increase, so I've decided I'd rather put the money towards owning a home than paying so much for an apartment. The location is excellent, plenty of great restaurants nearby (shout out to Fate Brewery), and it was lovely living here, for the most part. The gym and pool are both fantastic. This complex would be ideal for a young couple splitting the rent, or an older professional with no desire for the permanence of owning a home.
