Upsides: decent rent, good space with some lawn and attic and patios, more privacy than apartments, management never invades your home with (pest control) nonsense, no one above or below you, quite peaceful at night, a park is 60 seconds nearby. Downsides: country aspect invites lots of bugs and wildlife, maintenance isn't worth calling for, office could be more competent, you'll have to fight for your deposit back like everywhere else I've lived, neighbors are mostly trashy with tons of unsupervised kids tormenting the place, your cars will likely get messed with, furnaces are ancient, there's no landlines for TV or internet at all.
This is not a place I would recommend to anyone! If you are a" pot head" this is the place for you! If you can live in a dump, deal with incompetent office personal, and want to feel like you live in Mexico... apply today!! We have just moved out after a year, and could not be happier! We moved here from out of state, and thought we were coming to a quite country apartment complex, but we were wrong. 80% of the people here have to be living on well-far. And could care less about anyone else around them. their kids run free... your back yard is their playground. (I had to stop two boys distorting my kids sand box) We gave them $300 dollar deposit but only got $152 back for an apartment that we left cleaner then we got it. (the floor was so dirty that the bottom of our socks were black at the end of the day. It took us 2 weeks of cleaning it to get all the filth off the kitchen floor). They charged us 60 for two window screens (that were broken already) 30 for a filler (I'm assuming the furnace filter) 30 for a blind, 28 for the drip pans in the stove (we covered them in aluminum foil because they weren't replace when we moved in) This could be a great place to live, but the management couldn't care less about the buildings grounds and people. They just want your money. I hope this has been helpful, please don't make the some mistake we did! And good luck!
