DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THESE PEOPLE It's my last month here at the colonnade and I am so glad to never have to deal with this place again. The people in the leasing office are nice, but the overall experience was terrible. They charge $150+ late fee's and lie about how much the late fee's will be. They don't care if you are going through financial hardship. There is no grace period after the 4th even if you are pregnant and just got into a car wreck. They do not care about the individual. They a corporate business and you are just dollar signs to them. Again: DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THESE PEOPLE.

When I first moved into the Colonnade it seemed like a nice and peaceful community, but I was soon proven wrong. The staff and residents are rude to all of AI students, blaming us for stuff that could have obviously been done by a regular resident. I also had to call and complain about the stupid upstairs neighbors constantly! They would blast music at all hours of the night, but the office lady said that they were residents and there was nothing she could do about it. But I'll be damned if it was a student blasting music all night we would get threatened to be kicked out. My roommates car was broken into, but the front office lady was rude to us because we are students. It is unacceptable! I also expect the residents to have to abide by the same rules if not more than those of which us "students" have to abide by. Not to mention there is never any parking. There are too few parking spots for this complex. I wouldn't move back in a million years. I don't want to deal with unnecessary rude people. I like the peace and quite, having a parking spot close to my home, and feeling safe, so if you want those things don't move in here.

Don't expect to be treated like a human here. But do expect them to cheat you out of amenities. 1. This is a 'gated' community, in that it has gates that are broken 90% of the time. 2. The singular trash compactor is always overflowing. This is with the $20 a month trash valet service that never seems to actually happen. 3. We recently had a leak in the ceiling above our bedroom. They fixed the leak, but threatened us with a bill unless we left the VERY LOUD drying equipment in our bedroom. Where we sleep. Sleep and loud equipment don't really ever coexist. We've only lived here for a month and a half, and already regret the decision immensely.

I'm writing this review openly as a college student that lived here under housing. Let me begin by saying the houses themselves are okay, despite the fact it is not what you pay for (I get charged twice the amount just because I'm in college). The only people I see staying on top of anything are the maintenance crew, however there are several problems within just about every house "painted up" so that you don't notice the issues until you spend a couple days here. For some reason the complex and its entirety has this grand facade that it is the best around, not true. There are a lot of issues that run near-constant for example: the gates are always broken, trash compactor is constantly overfilled and broken, problems I've seen from several apartments repeatedly (garbage disposal, washer, dryer, sinks, pests, stray pets, etc.) Next thing, that a lot of people seem to have problems with are the people that run the clubhouse/ leasing office. On a good day you can catch one or two of them with a fair attitude and a smile that will offer you their help until they get interrupted by a particular woman who seems to enjoy spending her time trying to run a dictatorship in the office. She is skilled in giving people the run around when it comes to concerns and questions and if you mention anything about you being a college student she could give two shits less about your life. On more than one occasion I've heard her speak in a degrading demeanor to people, not just college students, who have had legitimate issues and have been completely disregarded. Maybe reading these reviews will save you a little time and a lot of money, don't be fooled by the amenities, the houses aren't worth the fees and the trouble, the parking is terrible (boats and vehicles that take up extra spaces just because and illegally parked cars in handicap spaces every night) the staff is uncaring and rude, and it is truly not worth the ridiculous price to live here. Sorry.

my advice: don't do it. Keep moving a long to find another apartment, any other one. They will try to take and take, but not take care of the place you're staying in
