I do NOT recommend moving to this apartment complex.. I moved to Indianapolis January of 2014 for a new job on the northwest quad of Indy. I wanted something affordable and close to where work is - closet to Traders Point. The price was decent for what I saw online and the room that was shown to me was very nice. Upon moving in, I had to make several maintenance requests: the refrigerator was not cooling properly, the oven was not heating, and the windows in my bedroom and living room were cracked. They took care of the refrigerator and oven in a timely manner, but 10 months later, my windows have still not been replaced. In order for anything to get done, you have to constantly call the office. If they don't return your calls, you must go in the leasing off during office hours. The window problem was annoying, but not as annoying as the pest problem - cockroaches. My building had to be sprayed several times because of the problem. It was disgusting and embarrassing. I did not want to invite any friends or family over for fear of them seeing them. Lastly, there was a shooting in early October. That, for me, was the last straw (after getting my car keyed). I decided to break/buy out my lease. In order to do this, you have to give 60 days notice, and then pay for 60 more days. In my opinion, after dealing with all that, the 60 days notice should have been sufficient, but the office refused to work out any kind of deal. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reconsider before signing a lease here. Maintenance is a joke, they have problems with pests, security has stepped up some, but still is sub par. You will not be happy here.

BIGGEST MISTAKE AVOIDED My bff and I were going to move into the same apartment complex. She moved in first and since then it has been a disaster for her. Her place was broken into three weeks after she moved in. It was the middle of the day and in the 15 mins we were gone both our laptops were stolen. Maintence which was kind enough to show said she didn't have the window closed. It was the middle of winter in Indiana. Of course the window was closed. When I went with her to report it to the office, eithlo, the leasing reps first response was" sorry you can't move you are bound by your lease here is a flyer for adt" glad to know the office looks out for its residents. Even the police informed me that this neighborhood was unsafe and to avoid moving here. Also she has placed numerous maintenance request for bugs and was told to go and buy her own bug spray. It looks them three weeks to give her a mailbox key so she could get to her mail. This place is a joke. After seeing all her issues and bad customer service I decided to move in across the street. P.s. Don't be fooled by the new management sign this is McKinley leasing she had all these issues with.

Creekwood apartments are the worst that I have ever been in. The office staff are far from professional, corporate doesn't care what the office staff does or doesnt do. Last month several residents rent payments came up missing. They don't want to do any repairs. If you file complaints on other residents they don't care and make up excuses as to why it is ok for your neighbor to blast their music whenever they want too. If you are looking for the lowest class of apartments to live in then this place would be perfect. I was looking to make this place my permanent home but since Pinnacle has taken over and made this place worse than worse I will be leaving as soon as I can and I'm even looking into hiring an attorney because of it. I don't recommend this place to my worst enemy if you choose to move in here you are doing it at your own risk.
