Great apartments, Great amenities. I have lived here for 2 months. WOW cable is the worst. You need to look elsewhere for an apartment. WOW has a monopoly on the complex and there is no way to avoid the 45 a month fee for basic cable you pay to Farmington. WOW cannot even tell you what your bill is going to be until the first bill is generated due to there contract with Farmington. I have to pay 156.00 for less service than ATT offers for 99 bucks. Be sure to contact WOW before signing a lease. I think you will find it cost prohibitive and move on in your search for an apartment.

It is a very nice facility! However, the staff loves to keep secrets. When I arrived we had to practically beg them just to show us where our apartment was! They don't tell you your mailing address, they don't tell you your mailbox number, they hide the fact that you have to purchase a card in order to actually use the washer and dryers. It's been nothing but a mystery since we arrived. Very nice and affordable apartments, just make sure you ask a lot of questions!

Nice apartments. Well appointed. Nice features in the community, car wash, play area, dog park, pool area with grills, etc. Outside kept well. Quiet area, decent people. Rooms are on the small side, but I came in with larger furniture :)

Actually living at the apartment was fine. Issues relating to leasing associate's promises, lack of information about possible issues, and basic management disinterest were bad. I reserved a storage unit on site months before our actual move in date. About 3 days before our move in from out of state, I received a call telling me the storage unit I paid for and reserved was not available. I told them that was not acceptable. After numerous phone calls back and forth, up to the day before we moved from out of state, I finally secured a different unit. What they neglected to inform me was that the particular unit that they rented me was in a row of units that has had ongoing issues with flooding. Since they did not advise me of that issue, I did not pack the unit in any particular manner. Without thought, I placed our family photo albums on the floor in cardboard boxes. As a result, the first time there was a decent rain, the unit flooded and we lost many of those photo albums. Poor customer service! All they had to do was inform me of the possibility of the flooding, and I would have stacked things differently. When we moved in, the place "looked" clean. The first night after moving in, we noticed that the bottom of our feet and or socks were almost black from dirt on the carpet. We cleaned and vacuumed regularly. After 3-4 weeks, the carpets were finally clean enough to not leave someone’s bare feet or white socks filthy dirty. Yesterday I received my deposit refund, it was short $250. When I inquired about the shortage, one of the items was for carpet cleaning. I was informed that because I did not provide a receipt for carpet cleaning, I was charged $95. (They did not say they were going to do it). I explained the whole situation to the apartment manager. Her response was that because I did not inform them on the walk through that the carpets needed cleaning, I was held responsible. I told her that the carpets appeared to look cleaned, however evidently someone just ran a cleaner over it with old dirty water and made it look as though it was cleaned. Good customer service would dictate that when someone explains such an issue, even though not "reported" up front, the company would do the right thing. No such luck. It is a shame that they willingly choose to hide behind "company policy" and not take care of a customer that paid rent on time, cleaned the place up much better than when we moved in, and was easy to get along with. There are always going to be moments in time in any customer / provider relationship that define how a company acts and how they treat their customers. Today was one of those opportunities for Farmington Village and they failed miserably. I guess they have continual full occupancy and are not forced to take care of their customers in a manner that portrays good customer service. In addition, when they hold your deposit and have final judgment on any issues that will deduct from that deposit refund, a consumer feels violated and extremely agitated, good companies continually look for ways to surpass customer expectations. It appears that Farmington Village continually assesses how little they can get by with in relationship to how high their occupancy level is. That’s a sad way to run a business.

The customer service is bad. They accused me of stuffing paper towels in the toilet when it was already clogged when i first started living there. There was a smell outside our apartment that we complained about several times. The lady even said she doesnt smell anything when it was pretty obvious. I complained about the shower pressure being low. Only thing they had to say was it was fine. I had to buy my own shower head and it made a big difference. Last couple of months they didnt even send us our rent. We had to go to the office to ask them for it. Our last month they tried to charge us more than what we owed. Be careful! They will hit you with some bogus charges. The apartments are pretty nice. Thats the only good thing i have to say about the place. That and safety. I am just glad the lease is expired.
