Do not live here!!! Way to expensive!! Office is rude and do not care about your issues. There is no parking. NO storage space or private balconies. Not worth the money!! LOOK ELSEWHERE!!

Lots of poor reviews, but I was happy here. I guess parking can be tough, but it's not bad at all if you live on the shorter side of the complex. I never had to park on the street. The gate does need to be more consistently functional, not sure why it's so commonly out of order. The positives... The staff treated me great, kudos to Michael and Clayton. Always friendly and helpful and happy to give my dog some treats when I stopped in the office. I had no issues with my billing. My apartment was very nice for the price I paid, roomy and lots of windows. I had no issues with noisy neighbors. My dog loved running around in the fenced in pond area. Close to businesses, close to the highways for commutes. My recommendation is to try to get a unit to the right of the office. Only 3 buildings on that side, it's quieter and less crowded for parking.

I am a manager at BNSF Railway, I have lived here since April 2015, and will never recommend this property to anyone under any circumstance. I hope this review saves you from making a costly mistake, read very carefully. Absolutely horrible, do not be deceived. Before you decide to move here, do yourself a favor and look at the open police records. Look at the amount of burglaries, break-ins, robberies and more for this ONE LOCATION alone over the past year and a half. Then look at how over the past two month that number has increased significantly. Do NOT let this complex "assure" you that anything will be different than it has over the last year, or that they are making any adjustments to reduce these very well known issues. I can assure you - they are not. This is what was told to me and the people before me and so on...never ending. I can assure you that this complex has done everything they can to make their residents a prime target for criminal abuse and they refuse to do anything about it - except make it worse. The so called "gated community" is anything but that. The gate hasn't worked in half the time I have lived here, and has been open the last 45 days or more, dramatically increasing crime rate from what it already was to begin with. This is negligence at best, and at worst an accomplice to the theft and burglary of their residents. Their lack of competence is enabling criminals to come in and do whatever they want and leave without worry. My truck has had drivers window smashed ($325), then a few weeks later tailgate stolen ($2,700). I have reached out to management 5 times in the past month, and visited the office 3 times since then, not once have I had a call back. And TRUST ME, I am not alone. Talking with neighbors, this happens every week. There are zero security measures taken, no cameras, no guard, no gates (who needs walking gates when there are no entrance gates to keep people out), and is location right by a quick get away to 820. As you will see when driving through the parking lot, multiple cars have trash bags over the windows from break-ins. "I pay to live in a gated community, don't I? Where is the manager", " Well yes you do pay for that, the gates will be fixed very soon.....And the manager is out, I will have her call you first thing." This scenario is all too familiar and repeated often. A cash return for services not rendered would be appropriate for ALL residents. The two times that I have had police come to my apartment they are astonished at the lack of action taken by management to fix the gate and have expressed concern for residents living here. The police make rounds through the area, but can't do much if the apartment gates are left wide open. -Volleyball court - occupied mostly by people who don't live here when the net is actually up. -The pools are nice when they are not completely over crowded by people that don't even live there, which is always the case. -Not a place for a family unless you like having to worry about a break in every day. -The gym smells like you have been trapped in your junior high football locker room without any windows or ventilation. (Windows are there, but they don't open) -Parking is a joke. Be prepared to walk to your apartment from outside the non-existent gate. -The gate will work for a week, then be out for 3 weeks. -The only good thing that is in this apartment complex is the maintenance team. They are always quick to respond and get whatever you need resolved. They get 5 stars. -Management and team is very nice, but is seriously lacking the ability to solve problems or take care of their residents. Hope this helps. Maybe someday I'll actually hear from management, when I do I will let you know. -Scott

I moved into my apartment about 5 months ago with my boyfriend. It's a one bed/one bath and I love it. I honestly can be proud to say that I love this complex. Since I've moved in the pool has been open and so beautifully clean. I use the gym regularly and it's always been clean. I've had flooding in my apartment's CLOSET, loud upstairs neighbors and my sink didn't work when I first moved in. I personally don't mind that because apartments aren't going to be 100% when you move into them. UNLESS you move into them brand new. Michael is one of the people that I talk to when something is wrong and he always makes sure that everything is done in a timely manner. He's taken such great care of my boyfriend and I and I couldn't be more happy. The parking situation doesn't bother me or my boyfriend much, since I use the highway every day so I can just park outside my apartment and just go. My dog is a pitbull mix and they love her at the office. When we were talking about our contract the simply recommended that I bring in a letter from my vet saying that my dog wasn't aggressive and she's up to date on all of her vaccines. I also have a bearded dragon that stays in his cage most of the time and they don't mind him either. Over all, I love the complex and I feel like my money isn't going to waste when I pay my rent.

Mess with this complex if you want to. Parking is horrific. Before signing a lease, make sure you do a drive by at night to see all of the vehicles parked outside of the gate. If you want to get a parking spot in front of your building, come home straight after work, and don't go anywhere. In order to know whether or not maintenance has been in your apartment, you HAVE to ask them to leave a notice. Disregard the breed restrictions listed on the apartment's website. Bring your pitbulls, or whatever other listed restricted breeds. I love pitbulls, but Hidden Lakes needs to follow what's listed on their website. Oh yeah, make sure you check your rent bill. They'll mess that up too, then tell you it's your fault. ONE of the incidents in particular, I was home taking a nap after work when I received a knock at the door. To my surprise, it was one of the leasing specialists (or whatever they're called) at my door with a maintenance man (I guess he was the bodyguard) trying to give me a big ass orange eviction notice. Turns out the chick hadn't even checked her damn records to see that my rent was paid! After checking her records, she couldn't even call to apologize, I had to call her to make sure she seen that I had paid my rent (as I always do). Don't let me forget coming home to a broken step that was broken for weeks. I guess plywood was a great temporary remedy (that broke too). If you have a broken down car sitting in the parking lot, don't worry about it getting towed. Your car will be just fine and allowed to sit in the same spot for way over a month. Be prepared to buy your own salt or sand should it freeze as it did this past February. I was told by management that due to liability, they do not put any salt or sand down, even though they do have some. You as the tenant are more than welcome to go get some salt or sand from the office/maintenance and put it down yourself. I have never heard of any mess like that before. While at my apartment, my dad did fall on the steps. Guess we should've gotten some salt or sand from the front office. I wonder how many other people slid their asses down the steps or in the parking lot. When my lease is up, I'm out.
