They will not rent to only full-time students. Regardless of employment status or financial history. At least one of the tenants must be not a student or a part-time only student.

Potential Resident : ** Alert** I book an appointment with the front desk to check out . Upon reaching the front desk lady asked me to sit and started going through the terms. The first question is how many people are moving in, i said 3 and next Q is do you make more than $38K per year, i said yes and i hear back that i am NOT eligible to stay if i make more than that. I am like, Why can't you say this on the phone ? : oh we are not suppose tell over phone until asked... (ugh!!!) . Imagine if you if anybody is coming to take a look out of town. It is so inconvenience. If you have a policy make it open or put it on your website especially when its a very rare one. The eligibility criteria is you have make LESS than for 1 occupant : 32/yr (approx) 2 occupants : 34/yr (approx) 3 occupants: 38/yr (approx) .. .. 6 occumpants : 49/yr(approx). The rent amount is no different from other apartments. Also, If you are a full time student then you are NOT eligible. I thought this will be helpful for the potential residents as they can save their trip.

First and foremost, I should say it took approximately 10-15 minutes to activate my Google+ account SOLELY for writing this review. To make a long story short, I LOVED this apartment -- that's why I lived here for 4 yrs -- from 2009 Fall to 2013 July. Here let me provide some WHYs: 1. Apartment Manager: One of the best aspects of this apartment was Linay Marsh, an apartment mamanger. I and my wife loved her ways of dealing with various issues -- quick and accurate -- and always enjoyed to talking with her. She always greeted us with a warm smile and tried her best to take care of things. This must be one of the reasons why we feel our current apartment manager sucks -- Linay was too good. I remember she was a management assistant in 2009 and now a manager -- she is well deserved for this promotion(s). 2. Maintenance: Apartments are new (compared to others in the area) and clean. Maintenance guys were always lightning-fast and took care of everything we asked for. This has been good for last 4 years, consistently. Compared to other apartments in the area, the management/maintenance office takes care of much less number of units. I guess this must be one of the reasons how they could respond to various requests promptly. 3. Location: The apartment is located right across the border of East Lansing, which is a way safer area than downtown Lansing. It's also at South-West of the Michigan State University campus, which has much less traffics. CATA bus stop is also close (3-min walking distance). 4. Value for Money: Lansing-East Lansing-Okemos area is basically a college town. If you do some research on other apartments, you will find the Hunt Club is one of the newest but most inexpensive options. I've been to my friends' places (e.g. Central Park, Homestead, Ashton Lake, Tammany Hills, Spartan Village, etc.) in the area but NEVER found anything better within a similar price range (Some of them were even more expensive). 5. I received the full amount of my security deposit. Seeing my friends' ridiculous experience on refund process with DTN, I guess(!) Concord has a more reasonable refund policy. Of course, I've tried to maintain my unit clean. Anything bad? No carport, and that was it. My 4 years there were that great.

I don't know what everyone is talking about when it comes to trash piling up or crazy loud kids; this location has been one of my favorite locations to live in through Lansing. I lived at Hunt Club 2008-2009 and never had a problem with the neighborhood; as long as you are not living in the center of the area I suspect everything is quiet. Maintenance guys are idiots as they didn't realize the dish-washer top wrack was in the wrong way and they didn't even know how to properly fix a crack in the ceiling. Still I recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a safe and inexpensive location.
