I moved in December 2014 and everything about the apartment looked nice. Spacious apartments, nice grounds and decent staff, it was really hard to find something to hate. That all changed the first week you move in. Work orders placed five months ago have still not been done, they have pet waste stations but the trash cans are never cleaned and when I brought this up to the main office, I was told "how are they supposed to know if no one tells them? They don't have time to look check 15 pet stations." The apartment itself starts falling apart, counter tops have been coated with a type of paint that peels the minutes something it drug across it, the appliances are old and if you want to not have a power bill over $150 a month, do turn on the AC or heat as the inefficient system costs an arm and a leg. The worst part though has to be the neighbors. The walls and floor are PAPER thin, you can hear everything. Yes, the building does allow pets which is hard to find, but get used to listening to a dog bark all day when the owners aren't home, or get yelled at by your neighbor for just walking around your apartment. This place has been the worst experience I've had in apartment living and I'm just counting the days until I can leave. The new management company that arrived in February has made things even worse, not better. Stay far away from here and don't let appearances deceive you.

Where do I begin? Most of the office personnel are rude and have no social skills at all. You walk in to ask a question and half of the time your response is a deer in the headlights look from some ignorant employee. There are spiders EVERYWHERE in our apartment! We have let them know our concern multiple times and they always seem to put us to the side. During the summer, our air conditioning was not working properly and they continuously told us there was no problem and everything was the way it should be. Well we have a young child and an 80 degree apartment is not a suitable living condition! Oh, but they don't give a rat's ass! They have no care for the people that live here, it is strictly about getting their money. I do have ONE, and only one, positive thing to say; the older maintenance guy is so very polite and helpful. With all that being said, my husband and I cannot wait to get the hell out of this shithole!

They are awful money scamming people who dont give a crap about anything but getting money, apts were cold and drafty, told me to put plastic up, electric bill was through the roof, paying for trash pickup which I could have done myself , and now trying to collect money I dont owe on a move out...What the hell, as if the upstairs neighbor wasnt enough which they did nothing about.... I stayed there for 10 months and the experience was generally what can be expected for an apartment that's near the college ("students") and 1/2 a mile from the Verizon wireless amphitheater ("late night music") all causing lots of traffic. The bills and fees aren't controlled by the owners or staff and have been found the same all over Mecklenburg county in all complexes. My apartment at (132) was nice and with super neighbors, though I would advise the apartment on the top floor; for two months who ever was upstairs had to be doing INSANITY workouts. Yea, I thought they were going to cause the ceiling to fall. A recreation area is within a hundred yards of the place. The Hunt Club has a nice clean pool and indoor Basketball / Racquetball courts in addition to the gym. I most certainly would stay again; the pros out-way the cons 3-1.

Don't waste your money here. Looks are VERY deceiving. I moved here because I needed something quickly and everything about this place has been a joke since ....especially the manager Tracy who is a real cunning b**ch with an attitude towards everyone. Because of her and how she does NOT uphold Bell's values, I will not be renewing my lease here. If there is ever an issue that is their fault or where they should side with their customer to make them happyand better their perception, it gets twisted to be your fault 100% and Tracy's attitude makes you sick. The customer to them is never right. New to the South, I WOULD NEVER recommend the Hunt Club to my colleagues or people who are relocating. SPREAD THE WORD! Maintenance is completed carelessly and cheaply, and the office staff is never there on time, though they claim someone is always here early. They changed my locks one day and left without leaving me a key or a message as to how to get in! They don't provide you with a printed copy of your lease and expect you to bind to it. I guess everyone must own a computer with internet access to them. Laundry facilities are always crowded, machines are broken, there are not enough of them, and the building is very dirty and not upkept. Chad in the office is awesome but the rest of the staff is a pain to deal with. Loud music at night and ammenities that are VERY dated. If you plan to lease, see it first....the pictures on the web site do not look like 90% of the units. My furnace had 10 years of dust in it and I had to clean it out. I do not see how Hunt Club say they are who the web site says they are in "core values." The values of the company online are NOT the way they conduct business. Think 2-3-4 times before choosing Hunt Club.
