Pros: April in maintenance cares about problems being fixed in a timely, respectful manner, plenty of parking, bedroom is as close to soundproof as you can get in an apartment complex. When management makes a promise, they follow through. Cons: Bedbugs!! Office staff is disrespectful and rude and will act as if their knowledge does not run past the script that they use when something is wrong. I have been there for just over two months and in that time I have had my shower break where I had to shower in a separate building all together, bed bugs to the point that I had to throw out brand new sheets because they were destroyed, I've had the water shut off in the middle of my shower because they were doing maintenance without informing the tenants so I was stuck covered in soap for 35 minutes as the office staff continually told me 15 minutes only to find out nobody called maintenance until I was 30 minutes in. The neighbors allow their kids to use the stairs as their jungle gym with no respect for your sleep at 7am on a Sunday. I am giving this apartment complex 1 star until they fix their office staff's attitude because these are the people that I have to deal with every month and all other issues aside, a polite and caring employee is the difference between escalating the issue to the point of regretting moving in and being grateful that you went with a company that cares and fixes the problems as they come up. Every apartment complex has issues, these things happen, but I don't want to deal with someone who acts as if handling them calmly and respectfully is an inconvenience on them. I would NOT recommend this complex to anyone who doesn't want to give money to people who will treat them poorly.

This place is the worst! New management is horrible. This is the second winter in a row that I have to call have maintenance come at least once a week to bleed the boiler lines because I am not getting sufficient heat in my apartment. I keep getting told by management that the boilers are all being fixed and updated however nothing changes. I have my thermostat set to 90 and it never gets above 70 in the apartment. I am lucky if it gets above 65 if its less than 40 degrees outside. During the coldest week of last winter my whole building didn't have heat. Management didn't keep anyone informed about what was going on nor did they provide compensation of any kind for not having heat for a whole week with -20F temps outside. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes of running the shower to get lukewarm water. They don't have separate pet or smoking buildings. I have two dogs but I do not think people without dogs should be forced to live in the same building as tenants with dogs. A few of my neighbors are terrified of my black lab and it takes special maneuvering to get in and out of the building when other people are also trying to get in or out. My whole apartment (including all my clothes) smell like cigarettes (so bad people think I have started smoking) because my downstairs neighbors smoke. I talked to management about it and there was nothing they could do since people are allowed to smoke in their apartments. My neighbors are constantly fighting in the middle of the night, loudly enough to have the police called on them. I have a broken window in the hallway in my building that has been broken since I moved in. I have put multiple maintenance requests in and told management in the office more than once. They just close out the maintenance requests without even saying why they cant fix it. If all that wasn't enough to turn you off, they charge you for parking and you aren't even guaranteed to be close to your apartment. Depending on where you park it is difficult to back out of spots, the parking lot is too narrow. If it snows a lot they put the snow piles on some of the parking spots closets to the buildings. It is difficult to get a good parking spot as it is if you get home too late. Its one of the few places that allows large dogs, but its not at all worth the money you save. You definitely get what you pay for with this place. All the signs say they are improving things. I have yet to see anything improve. My previous downstairs neighbor had lived in the complex for 5 years before the new management took over. He did not renew his lease and will be leaving as soon as my lease is up as well.

Thought I could overlook many things while trying to save money, no. You get what you pay for. This is def low rent. Besides myself and my child having to listen to people argue and fight every night, the plumbing is ridiculous. I can't have people over as it usually takes 3 flushes of the toilet, the bathtub fills almost all the way up before it drains with the shower on, the bathroom sink is disgusting to brush your teeth in as it doesn't drain. The shower scorches you out of the blue. No exaggeration. My child was about in tears. My friends feel bad for me, and I honestly can't believe I made this decision to live here. The dryer takes 3 full cycles to dry a normal load, and it smells musty as it's running. Obviously not vented properly and hasn't been cleaned. First few weeks, found out tenants in the building have bedbugs. I'm mortified, no, this doesn't happen in every apartment complex. The lights in the hallway aren't on at 7:00 AM, was told to use cellphone light...nice. My child w/ backpack, winter gear and myself with laptop, work bag, purse etc. coming down from the 3rd floor. Not convenient to use my cell. The lights should just work. It's that simple. The parking...they advertise 799 for rent, that's if you don't own a vehicle. If you do and want to park it on the grounds, that's an additional 14 AND if you want a designated spot by your building that's another additional 14. So...28 for uncovered parking. Nice. If you're wondering, yes, when I moved in I filled out these issues on my move in sheet, and asked that they be addressed. Then...when I went down to inquire about the light situation, the gal that told me to use my cell phone for light, wrote down most of these maintenance issues again and told me I'd be contacted. Hasn't happened. Just went to the maintenance request page and they have a note posted that the requests are currently high and if it's not an emergency they won't respond soon. It's been 2 months... what is soon and what is not soon. Was told to take the issues of safety to a state agency. Hate to do that, however they're expecting my rent to be paid on time. I expect to have what I was promised.

This place is terrible. You have shared gas bills, which means your bill is SKY HIGH for no reason. They paint over chipped paint and the paint chips anyway. The tub chips throughout the year, the paint chips throughout the year, they supposedly "upgrade" the apartment and the appliances do not work. They charge an additional $15 for parking and barely plow the roads when it snows. The carpet is raggedy, maintenance barely comes out, the washer and dryer does a terrible job at washing your clothes, the walls are paper thin, and it is just a horrible place to live. The rent is too expensive for the terrible living conditions. DO NOT MOVE HERE. They always "assume" you didn't pay something in your bill and it's a true rip off.
