Do NOT move here. The people are rude, inconsiderate and have no morals. If you live on the first floor, like I do it is the WORST! Bugs, ants and the NEIGHBORS above you are ridiculously loud. It could be poor infrastructure on their part, poor screening of who they allow to live here or the people walk and weigh as much as elephants ( the people are actually VERY small people). If I would have know this I would have paid more money for piece of mind and quiet. Do let me get start edon maintenance requests.. you'll be waiting weeks and months... don't even bother. Do yourself a favor an pay the extra dollars for your sanity and peace of mind Don't say I did not worn you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OAN: the staff are great, Malachi is wonderful and the other office staff are accommodating as well. On

Literally the worst apartment I have ever rented at and I have lived in many apartments. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the grounds are pretty and the staff is full of very friendly people. Unfortunately that doesn't make up for all the bad here. When we moved in there were several little things that needed to be fixed such as the tub needed to be resurfaced, none of the outlets worked, the kitchen and bathroom floor needed replacing etc. Management told us it would be fixed within two weeks of us moving in. Four months later these people finally start showing up to fix things. They started coming in two months after we moved in after I kept asking them when things would start to get fixed. They came in and took the bedroom door for replacing and another two months later they couldn't even bring a new one back. I went four months without a door in my bedroom. That is ridiculous. It got to the point where we would have to go up to the office back to back everyday and ask when things would get done. Finally after four months of nothing happening the guy in charge of maintenance left a note on my door saying he had stopped by to replace the outlets (which he only replaced half of them) and that he would be back the next day to fix the bigger issues. I waited and waited the next day and he never showed up. I was pissed because at this point not only was he not doing his job, but he had made a promise and did not follow through the next day. That was very unprofessional. I sent an email to management and was getting angry. I threatened to contact Landmark, their boss, if no one came by to finish fixings things the next day. Because of this they showed up and finished the job the next day. It absolutely should not take me getting angry for something to be done. It should have been done four months ago when we first moved in. Not only is maintenance not concerned with their jobs, but there are several other things wrong with this place. There is graffiti EVERYWHERE. Management told us that they were waiting on "approval" from their boss before they could paint over it. Uhm what? You shouldn't have to have approval to cover up profanity that has been painted on the laundry room building, the garbage bins and sidewalks. The laundry room has large holes in the wall and is extremely dirty. Roaches fill the place. From the apartments to the laundry room to the gym. Its disgusting. Once again getting management to come in and spray that place with pest control is like pulling teeth. Even though pest control is supposed to be included in the rent. Trash litters the place from one end of the grounds to the next. Its like maintenance shows up to work and just sits there all day long until its time to go home. When the trash bins start to fill up, people just start throwing their trash on the ground and its very upsetting to see that. The website to this place is false advertising all the way. It claims there is a volleyball court. There is but there is no net...which defeats the purpose of the game. We were told before we moved in there was a dog park and basketball goal. Neither is located at this place. Don't waste your money on this place. I will be out of here the second my lease is up.

BAD!!! Of all apartments I've ever lived in this place is the worse!!! My fireplace leakes when it rains (after 2 attempts to fix it). I have had continuous problems with spiders and management doesn't seem to care, the excuse was they didn't have a copy of my key!!! The building is dirty, lots of spider webs, dead bugs, etc. The dumpster area is disgusting, it's just nasty out here!! My neighbors are loud!! The list goes on and on!!! Will not be renewing my lease!!

My experience has living here has been extremely terrible. When I moved in, I found evidence of bed bugs, roaches and other bugs being painted over and holes behind my toilet and my bathroom closet. The bathtub is disgusting, and sink garbage disposal is broken and my sink water smells extremely awful. I moved in missing two drawers, which still have no been replaced, and cracks around the foundation. The best part? A few days ago, my water heated busted and soaked my closet, clothes and important documents. I call emergency maintenance, he came out and said that it has been leaking for a long time, and needed to be replaced a while ago. I moved in mid April. I had to wait until 10 o'clock at night for the carpet guys to start drying and when I told them A.) I do not want anyone in my home without me being there, because I do not want strangers in my home, they came by and left a card on my door, stating they had been inside. B.) I went to the office the next day to let them know I was home, and requested maintenance to come over to finish the job, they said "I will let him know." and he never showed up. I got off work early, I was told someone was going to be there, and no one was there. Lastly, in order to pay your rent you can do it online, but if you don't pay with a checking account, you have to pay a $20 convenience fee just to pay your rent. If I had the money to pay extra JUST to pay my rent, I would not be living in a dangerous, roach infested, disgusting excuse for an apartment. I attempted to pay my rent with a checking account, and they sent me a receipt. A few days later, I receive an email that the echeck had not gone through, even though all my account information was correct and had JUST gotten paid. Astounded, I went online to see that they charged me a return check fee and late charges, and WONT allow me to pay with anything else than a debit card. So I am expected to pay late charges and return check fees that were in no way my fault, plus my rent, PLUS a convenience fee? No. Of course I called their office, which is outsource to a corporate office, so you never actually speak to anyone on site, and they said that they would call me on Monday, and when I told them I work, I won't be able to call they said "They would email me if they can't get in touch." How is that going to help me? I will be stuck with extra late charges, until I can contact them. I never got an apology or an offer to replace my damaged items from their neglect of the water heater. I am being charged for things that are not my fault, and I can't even pay it because they will not allow me to pay online with an echeck. I beg you, if you have any other options, do not rent or live in these apartments. You are better off elsewhere if you value your sanity and your happiness.

I MOVED INTO AN APARTMENT IN RALEIGH NC THAT THE LEASING AGENT STATED WAS HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE BUT IT COULD NOT BE FURTHER FROM IT NOTHING ON THE ENTIRE PREMISES IS HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE YET THE MARQUEE IN FRON T OF THE LEASING OFFICE HAS THE INTERNATIONAL SYMBOL OF ACCESS ON IT. MANAGEMENT SAID THEY WOULD MAKE CHANGES TO IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY BUT NOW THEY ARE DOING NOTHING AND THEY ARE IGNORING ME; WON'T RESPOND TO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. I HAVE 2 WORK ORDERS IN FOR MAINTENANCE REPAIRS THESE ORDERS HAVE BEEN IN FOR OVER 3 WEEKS & NO REPAIRS ARE BEING DONE. THE COMPLEX WHERE I LIVED IS OWNED BY LANDMARK APARTMENT TRUST. I JUST WROTE THE COMPANY A LETTER & BEFORE FINALIZING IT I WANTED TO HAVE A SPECIFIC PERSON TO ADDRESS THE LETTER TO. I WENT ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WEBSITE IN TAMPA FLORIDA WHERE LANDMARK IS BASED, I HAVE A CONTACT PERSON I ALSO LEARNED THAT LANDMARK APARTMENT TRUST HAS HAD 52 COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU & SOME THAT THEY FAILED TO RESPOND TO.
