Prior to even checking out the reviews on Google, I visited the property (which I suggest for any person shopping for an apartment). I mainly chose it out of convenience. Its located in a PERFECT part of town if you are a student or work 27th

Absolutely horrible place to live, apartments are basic at best, amenities are overpriced. Front office staff have no idea whats going on when you call with questions, tend to give misinformation. Accounting office makes it seem as though it is your fault for their errors. Management is condescending and rude and has no customer service etiquette at all. Called to dispute a charge and Accounts Manager hung up the phone on me. Leasing agents will claim one thing but accounting office will tell you another. NO other apartment company does this pooprints program, just a way to get more money out of tenants. I wouldn't recommend ANY Richdale Property to anyone.

Terrible experience. The people in the office are unhelpful at best and maintenance is as slow as could be. Our porch was constantly covered in pigeon feces and they did nothing about it. When our microwave broke it took over a month to be replaced, but they wouldn't reduce the rent even though one of the amenities was not present for a month. Multiple times they have charged late fees on rent payments when they were handed in to a representative before they were due. The office employees claim no responsibility for the late fee and direct you to the corporate office which is just as unhelpful with a condescending tone as a bonus. The last month I lived there my roommate and I handed in our rent checks simultaneously and for some reason they wrote the next days date on one check and called it late. After explaining this to the office one of their representatives said she would look into it and we would hear back; two weeks later I inquired about it and no one knew what I was talking about and again directed for corporate as they "only lease the apartments" and have "nothing to do with the rent payments". I expect nothing back from my deposit, even after the extensive cleaning we performed. I have reported them to the BBB and Attorney General as this last episode seems to be them blatantly trying to squeeze another $50 out of me on a "late" rent payment, conveniently on my last payment to them. I would not recommend this place to anyone, you can find a lot nice apartments for a lot less around town. Pathetic customer service just tops it off.

I've been at Lions Gate for about 6 months now and overall not too happy. I feel like things are a little overpriced for what you get. $600 for a barebones 1br/1bath apartment. The staff at the leasing office is rather hit or miss. There are times that they are helpful and other times it seems like they have no idea what they are doing and give the usual "I will need to contact corporate for that" answer. This is the only place I know that charges the tenant for water too. Only a few bucks a month, but still its rather inconvenient. The 1 giant issue is the amount of roaches in my apartment. I live on the 3rd floor and have roaches living inside the stove and dishwasher. This was a problem the day I moved in and has only gotten worse. I'm forced to move all my dishes and silverware to my bedroom where its safe from the bugs. It's rather inconvenient to have the kitchen cupboards empty but I really don't like opening the cupboards up and seeing roaches crawling over everything. I am a clean person and don't leave any dishes or messes out. Usually roaches start coming in on the 1st floor and work their way up to the top floor. I can only imagine the amount of bugs the tenants below me have! I called the leasing office to get an exterminator out here but it just doesn't seem to be much of a priority for them. I most likely will not be renewing my lease. The one good thing that happened, due to the leasing office's incompetence, was they messed up on my account and actually gave me over $600.00 in credit. The leasing office had no idea where the credits came from, but I guess I really can't complain about a free month's rent. This screw up on their part is the only reason they don't get a 1 star.

I've been living at Lionsgate for a little under a year now, and was surprised by how negative these reviews all are. I have never had a problem with management, or parking, or pigeons. The worst thing that has probably happened is being woken up by the sound of someone vacuuming the hallways on days when I sleep past noon. Oh, and the back door and windows are a little drafty .Compared to everywhere else I've lived in Lincoln though, Lionsgate has by far the best location, staff, and apartments. As far as maintenance not getting to issues, I called them this morning in regards to an issue with water leaking in the bathroom, and there was someone here within an hour. I'll definitely be re-signing my lease, and encourage everyone considering these apartments to not let these other reviews sour your opinions.
