I got a warning sticker slapped on my car threatening to tow it due to the inspection being out while I was parked inside the complex. Sure his is a part of the "rules & regulations" but it amazes me they would pull something like this when they haven't fixed the burnt counter tops, uneven cabinets and the moldy leak under my sink in the whole year I've lived here. If you have time to walk around and look at inspection stickers, you should have time to fix all the bs in the apartment. Who the hell walks around looking at the stickers on the cars anyways????

This is a terrible place to rent from. My apartment was not clean as promised the day I moved in. They didn't fix the items requested before move in. Previous renters smoked in the apt and there were bugs. When I inquired about pest control, I was informed they will go around on Thursdays upon request only. Which was the maint man with a can of bug spray. When it came time to renew my lease, you have to give them 60 days notice that you are going to move out, but they refuse to tell you what your new lease amount will be untill two two weeks before my lease was up. At that point I found out my lease was going to increase $50. Yet anyone moving into my building signing a new lease could get my same apt for my previous price.Their reasoning for this was that it came from corporate, and they don't have any control over the pricing or time the prices are released. So my only option was to renew at the higher price or pay the even higher (extra $200/month) price to go month to month in order to give them the 60 day notice you are leaving. shady. I also had the same problem the other reviews mentioned with the huge increase in the trash bill because we were all "under charged" last year. I DIDN'T LIVE HERE LAST YEAR!!! and my bill still jumped up. and you take your own trash to the dumpster. Just don't move here. You'll be happier somewhere else.

If you can live here without dealing with the management then you might be fine. (If you can deal with the INSANE amount of Wasps/dog crap/roaches on the property) But if you have to deal with them, prepare for hell. As my lease was coming up, i applied to move into a 2 bed room from 1, but was denied due to my potential roomates credit. But after dragging it out for a week, and not receiving a call for another. Even after those two weeks, i have still not had a conversation with the office. Everytime i call I'm told their manager is out of the office or in a meeting, and she'll call me back (I called six times never got a callback). And when i went to talk to her, she was very rude and unhelpful. Krystal the manager is just terrible to deal with. Not to mention everytime they have some bad info to give you, they slip it in your door at 5:55 on a Friday to not have to deal with you. For the lowrate you are paying, you are getting a pretty decent deal for the unit, but you are also paying a company Bell apartments who don't give a shit about you (oh and they will backcharge you over 100 dollars for garabage and water due to a mistake on their part.)

I have lived at Oak Park Apartments for a year now. When asked if I would renew my lease, I immediately said no and I will have my notice turned in 90 days in advance. The reason for this is the fact I was duped by the "cordial" staff. They acted like I was a welcome part of their family as I was making an unexpected move under military orders. The fact is they placed me directly on the basketball court. Ok not literally, my front door is a mere 12 feet from the basketball court. While living at Oak Park Apartments I had to call the property courtesy officer on over five different occasions, and the Euless Police Department on four separate evenings. All of these calls by the way were people playing basketball after 12:00 Midnight. Never mind the security gates as a sense of privacy/security, these gates allow non-residents in all the time and some teens just enter a code at the code box and walk right in. How hard is it to tell your friends the code? DUH! When I expressed my displeasure with my apartment because of the noise and asked to please relocate, I was told blatantly "we cannot just move you, try just reporting the noise to the courtesy officer." Staff at Oak Park, I have done that on numerous occasions and the courtesy officer should've been reporting this. I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone. Not only if you are not looking at an apartment on the Basketball Court, but because of the audacity of the staff to make it "no big deal" to allow their hard working residents to go through sleepless nights is a crime in of itself. Ps. I reserve the right to post any other negative experiences because the public should know and if given the choice, pay 100.00/month more and move closer to 360, your mental health will thank you!
