The staff is annoying as hell. The maintenance propel act like mall cops. And the receptionists are rude. And the landscapers are lazy, leaving piles everywhere. It is a nice place to live. Buy for $900+ rent. You need to keep your people under control

I have been a tenant with park place for I believe 2 years now. I have however had a very negative couple of experiences with that office as well as maintenance. I have had a continuous problem with the pilot going out on the water heater. I called (second time) Saturday Aug 29 and maintenance said that something needed to be ordered and he would return to fix it. I called 9-2 and spoke with after hours and had them submit another work order since i had not heard back. The following morning on 9-3 i called and spoke with the front office and was told that the gas control valve was to be ordered and that was why it took long. By 9-4 maintenance had come to install the gas control valve. However the pilot continued to fail. I tried calling on 9-6 but there was no answer, so called again 9-7 called the office back and spoke with the another front desk person who offered to relay the information. I then called again on 9-8 and spoke with the maintenance manager, before apologizing or attempt to address the issue he instead stated that there was evidence the water heater had been tampered with which i stated was only to light the pilot since it still continued to go out. He had a maintenance person come to my unit and state that i would not be getting a new water heater (which i never asked for) and that it was merely a strong wind that was blowing it out and i needed to stop causing the issue. That same day when he lit the pilot not even 1 hour went by and it was out. I decided to check the serial number to the gas control valve and called the warranty company and based on the serial number the agency advised me that it had been out of warranty since 2002. I have since called MULTIPLE times and each time maintenance has so far.....sealed the door to the pilot with tape, changed the door knob and locked total entrance to the water heater (which is a fire hazard since there is no access to the gas control valve) and then put tape on top of that. This issue has been ongoing for a very long time and what is most upsetting is the treatment i have received from your staff. They have been apathetic, accusational and in some cases aggressive and threatening. I am now forced to further escalate this issue to the better business bureau. I am not asking anything more than a water heater that simply works. Im not out, as the staff believes, for a brand new water heater. i just want it working. Is that too much to ask?I feel like they take advantage of me being female

I moved in my apartment on 7th of August since then I gave several work orders and as of yesterday my fridge is not working. Unfortunately, the food in my fridge was wasted and no one is taking the responsibility. The house smells really bad:(((( I am so frustrated with property menagement.

I moved out almost 2 months ago and they're still sending me invoices trying to charge me for made up expenses. I can't wait to finally get rid of this place for good. If I could go back and not move their in the first place I would

Staff is friendly and consistently very helpful. I have heard complaints about how utilities are payed on a shared system, but this is all made explicitly clear when going through the lease and has never been a problem for us as the cost has been reasonable. The views are nice and the surrounding area has conveniently located stores and restaurants.
