This place is a joke. Where do I start? If you get an upstairs apartment unit you probably will not be able to fit any furniture including ANY couch through the door because the enclosed staircase leading to the upper level leaves no room for even professional movers to move even small furniture in other than barely fitting a queen sized flexible mattress. The maintenance team is a joke. The majority of the maintenance technicians that come in to fix things have no clue what they are doing and 9 out of 10 times if the problem is more complicated than changing a light bulb it will not get fixed until someone has been called out at least 3 times. For 800 a month it is pretty much a ripoff. None of the doors in the apartment are fitted properly so you have to slam them to shut them. The hot water runs out after taking one bath. The only washer and dryers you can fit in here are tiny crap ones they will rent you (it takes 3 cycles on my apartment rented dryer to dry one load of clothes). The front desk rarely answers the phone during the day (even though supposedly they are paid to). The night maintenance never actually comes to fix anything (they must get paid to do nothing but sleep). If you have any crime on your record even a misdemeanor they will tell you you can't move in here. I quote them saying that "we once denied someone for getting caught smoking a joint 30 years ago as a misdemeanor." I was told the computer is responsible for denying people. This place is about as humanistic as a cock roach lair. I get to listen to the loud motorcycle bar and their biker gangs every night rev their engines until 2 in the morning and during the day Dobbs tire shop sounds like a formula 1 racing pit stop. Then there are semis that will park their cars with their loud generators on right next to the units. The mailboxes are so small that if you get any package bigger than say the size of a medium sized envelope it will be sent to the leasing office and you will probably have no idea it is there. The fridge and freezer are relatively small. Everything in the place is dated. One room is about 3 times the size of the other bedroom. Stay far away.

I have live in pelican cove apt for 4 yrs and It was great at first and very one was really nice but once things started to brake and we would call the manager and no one would ever come out and fix and when i would call ask them where the maintenance men are, they would tell me it go from the worst problem but i would go to the small pool and the maintenance men would be down there for hours sitting round and smoking and talking to one another. All I seen was one maintenance man working and that its and the way that the management talk to people is also a problem , this is my home and I have the right to be concern and voice my issues and i have the right to say no u can't enter my apt without me there. Done with this apt and i would never ever recommend this apt or any property that they manager to anyone worst decision I have made was to resign my lease last year.

I"ve been a resident at Pelican Cove for 21 years. Until the current owners took over it was great. Cohen-Ersey now owns the property and have continuosly raised rents and started patch-work repairs to save money. I wouldnt recommend Pelican Cove. Unless you want to pay more for less. The new managment has no concern for tenats problems with the apts.

This place is ok. Nothing spectacular. Wished my apartment didn't remind me of the 80's with the old out dated bathroom and kitchen. It served its purpose for two years now its time for me to move on. Really not worth the prices they have set in place.
