I've lived in plenty of apartments in Austin, and have really enjoyed my stay at Ridgeview. I lived in a 1-1 for a little over a year, and now live in a 2-2 with my girlfriend on the other side of the complex. The ladies in the management office have always been friendly for the most part, and when requesting maintenance or anything of the sort, we've had someone there the next business day. The management regularly holds social gatherings with margaritas/beer/pizza/burgers by the pool area, and really keep a friendly atmosphere. When I moved from my 1-1 to my 2-2, they waved the transfer fee, and didn't charge me for the days that I moved out of the 1-1 lease early (my past apartments always charged me). On top of that, high ceilings, open floor plans, still very new looking, and in the 2-2 specifically, the $/sq foot was amazing. In addition to all that, in almost 2 years, we've yet to see 1 roach in the place, which is a huge plus. I fully plan on continuing to stay here until I can put a down payment on a house.
If you think Ridgeview apartments is a good place to move to, "Think again". It got so bad I moved out recently. This place have a few plus, like large bedrooms, clean surrounding. The three big minus however take away from those. If you live in building 1-4, be prepare not to get much sleep. When I'm inside of my apartment the sound from the daily traffic is so loud, it's like I'm literally standing by the side of the road. There is also a school bus that pick up kids in the morning at 8 that blow its horn constantly. And please don't get me started on the parking spaces. If you drive anything larger than a mini coper be prepare to pay 85 for a garage. The parking spaces are sooooooo small when i park i cannot get out of my car. Read this and take "NOTE" because if you don't you will regret it especially if you have a lot to move like i did. I wish that someone had written a review about this before I moved in
Signing up for another year, been here two years and have loved every minute of it. Have you ever noticed that the angry customers are much more likely to leave review? This is certainly the case here. Ridgeview has a quiet and comfortable pool area, excellent gym and spin room with free classes available through out the week. The square footage for the money is great. We opted to have painted wall accents done and the apartment is amazing. It is quiet with most of the residents being families or executives like me and my wife who have been here long term as well. The management and office staff are really great and the maintenance team is incredible. If you ever have a request it is done with in 24 hours. They have a lighted dog park and vast walking area's for exercising pets. I cannot say enough about Ridgeview. If you are looking for a quiet, safe, upscale living arrangement make sure to come by and take a look. Sincerely George and Maho
I've been working with the Ridgeview staff for awhile now. I'll be the 1st to say they'll make your stay 100% enjoyable. If you do decide to stay ask the staff for my info and ill set you up with your Internet and cable!
The reason I give this location a 2 star rating is that when I first moved in the apartment was dirty, had nails in the carpet, and the refrigerator was completely filthy. Unfortunately I still live in the complex but I more so will not sign up for another lease.
