City View is definitely the place you want to be! Excellent views, beautiful facilities, and capable staff await you at this quiet riverside location. You can wake up and walk to coffee shops for breakfast, stroll down the Greenway trail listening to the sounds from Ascend amphitheater, or walk Downtown at night to meet your friends for dancing and live music. Trendy East Nashville is just a bike ride across the river, and swanky Gulch restaurants are only a few blocks away. You are so close to everything Nashville, but you will feel like you are away from the noise when you lay your head down at night for a peaceful sleep. I hope you make City View your new home...you won't regret it!
I had traveled to Nashville twice looking at apartments before I found City View. I'm sure glad I took that 3rd trip to look. The floor plans are spacious, the views are great even if you aren't looking at the city because the grounds around the area are well kept, the location is perfect, and the staff is so caring and helpful. I haven't lived at City View very long, but I already feel at home!
I lived here for some time and had a mixed feeling about this place. Apartments were very nice and everything about them was good. Neighbors are all very respectful and good but the leasing office staff is just horrible. Crystal is the manager and she is just rude. She doesn’t care about what your problem is or what you need she ignores you as much as she can. Her tone is very disrespectful time to time and you will regret your decision for moving here. I would stay away from this property and go somewhere else. Once you move in, their behavior will change and you are ignored and disrespected.
WARNING - DO NOT MOVE HERE! My experience at City View has been absolutely terrible. At first everything was going great and I thought I had landed the perfect place. Not long after I moved in did I start seeing it for what it truly was. The "management" is awful (specifically Krystal and Candace). If you go to them with an issue they will smile and listen and tell you they will get it taken care of right away but then nothing gets done about it. The place is swarming with construction workers who are here 7 days a week. The construction noise alone will drive you insane, not to mention the scrap metal business right across the river, and the train that passes through at all hours of the night. (Prior to moving in I was informed about the train, but not the metal yard.) Maintenance is very slow. I was also told when I moved in not to worry about fixing anything and that they will come fix it right away but it often takes weeks for things to be repaired. In the spring they came around to clean the screens and they sat on the balcony for 3 weeks. I notified them of this several times and they kept telling me "somebody would be around to fix it". If you own a car, you might want to get rid of it unless you like walking long distances because there is never a place to park. The garage is filthy, and leaks through the walls and floods when it rains. I could go into more specific details but this review would become a novel. "If it is so bad then why didn't I leave?" - Well, I didn't want to pay the price of 1 months rent ($1800). If I was going to renew my lease, the rent was raised a couple hundred more a month. Listen when I say this - if you want to experience downtown life and luxury, there are plenty of other places downtown for less. It is not worth it. Trust me, you will regret it.
