Atlantic Beach is a small town & word does travel fast. Seeing the sign twirler on Atlantic Blvd. & Royal Palms advertising these "luxury" apartments I felt inclined to leave my experience on here. I was planning to move into these apartments using my "imagination" (suggested by the leasing gal) & there were a few HUGE red flags. 1. I was asked by the "manager" onsite to provide bank statements showing savings of $30K for past year to qualify. Upon questioning her she continued to claim this was required for each applicant. I was surprised as if we had that kind of money we would def not be moving into a rough neighborhood with our "imaginations." 2. Prior to signing a lease we asked to see the unit we were supposed to move in...needless to say we were shown a unit that was NOTHING like the unit we were "sold." Looking back the model smelled like an ashtray so that really should of been better clarification of what their interpretation of "luxury" is. Since I have dodged the bullet I have ran into one person after another with similar or worse experiences. Don't get taken away by the great "move in special."

Signing a lease was the worst decision of my life. From day 1 we have had problems. First off, its in a terrible area. Secondly, the staff at this complex is ridiculous. Reaching someone at the office is practically impossible. They will answer your phone calls as long as they are trying to get you to move in, after that you are irrelevant to them. There were several things that were promised to be fixed prior to moving in but never got done. No matter how many times I have called and have tried to go into the office our requests were ignored. The complex is under construction so its constantly a mess. There is work being done on buildings with no one living in them, yet the buildings that people have moved into have so much more work that needs to be done. Also, when they give you a tour of the complex they will show you the pool and talk about a fitness center and all these extra things included into the lease agreement. They will also leave out that those things won't be available to you in your time living there. I think overall the worst part is the way they treat their residents. Take my advice and don't make the same mistake that I did.
