I'm not happy with choosing this apartment complex. Mainly picked this area for the location because I'm new in town and Shadow Hills was close to my office. First, there are no open parking spaces and no garages. I called the front office about 3 times before I could get someone who could only tell me there was a waiting list. No timeframe, no other options. So, if you have two vehicles, you're screwed when it comes to parking. Also, the walls and ceiling are so thin you better pray you don't have neighbors with kids because when they are up, you are up. There is no sleeping through a kid stomping around above you. Multiple complaints to front office with absolutely no response. IMO, your money will be better spent paying for an apartment with a front office that cares.

Raised our rent $400 when our lease ran up. Very old building with lots of random defects, plugs and switches behind doors, old appliances, and splintering patios to name a few. Loud neighbors, and terrible tenet to landlord relations. Wouldn't recommend it anyone.

I lived there for 5 years with my brother and sister and while this is a great location in terms of work and school, the rent kept rising every year so when we finally decided to move, they overcharged us in fees that were completely unjustified claiming that we returned the keys late when I had dropped them in their drop box on the move out date like they had suggested. I haven't even talked about the mold issue that they never resolved in our apartment, because according to one of their workers "The building is just old and you guys just have make sure to air the rooms out". My advice is don't ever move in this place, but if you have no other choice, make sure you ALWAYS get everything in writing, because they will portray you as a liar even when they are the ones who won't follow through with their words...

We like it here, nice setting, and very convenient to everything. The management has been very good. Yes, they do ask you for a lot of information when you apply. We thought that was great, as shows they care who lives here. They community here seems to be of very friendly and nice people. They have full time maintenance men. We have had a couple small maintenance issues that were fixed within 24 hours - wow! We like it and plan on staying a while.

Lots of people. But it's ok. A little old interior.
