I am extremely happy with my apartment. I hadn't lived in an apartment for many years and was concerned about noise of neighboring apartments. I am happy to say that it is pretty darn quiet and the layout is really nice, lots of room. What impresses me the most is the staff. The manager and her assistants have truly bent over backwards to help me with any issue that I may have, staying after hours to help me, etc. I am chemically sensitive. before moving in, the manager helped me immensely to find an apartment that didn't have new carpeting and by finding a company that used natural carpet cleaning products, etc. I would not be able to live here otherwise. THANK YOU LINDA!!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!

I would give this place three stars if they did not make an effort to improve in the last 6 months. I have definitely had my spats with the office staff here and there for various reasons, however, I will say that they have made quite the effort to get in the top shape I found them when my husband and I moved in over two years ago and they do apologize for mishaps. If you move in, I would recommend that you are explicit about your needs and expectations. In addition, the management does keep the property clean which is better than most places I see in Tucson. It may not be a gated community, but I think the location and free utilities are a very nice balance. It is plenty of space for two people and we have a nice view of the mountains. I don't know about the cockroach situation that other reviewers have experienced, but do try to remember that if you leave your door open to a nice A/Ced room, critters in the heat are going to try to get in past your feet. Overall, a comfortable place to live.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THESE REVIEWS! The Majority of these things have happened to me and other residents I know. The cockroaches are a huge problem and when you ask them to fumigate the apartment it will take them weeks to go and do it! The heater thing is another problem, this year got really hot starting January and they didn't swap to AC until mid February… all the residents were complaining and they didn't care! BUT THE WORST OF ALL, IS THE MANAGEMENT. DEFINITELY – “Avoid this place if you like your credit -- They will claim you have late fee's and try to keep all of your deposit when you move out. The Manger is shill and rude, like the rest of the staff.” TOTALLY TRUE!... I HAD A SIX MONTH LEASE AND THEN I MOVED OUT TO THE SAME APARTMENT COMPLEX BUT OTHER UNIT. I DIDN'T HAD ANY CHARGES AND I WAS GOOD TO GO. ONE MOTH LATER THEY ARE NOW CHARGING ME $630 FOR A CARPET THAT WAS CLEAN AND THEY CHANGED 3 YEARS AGO. THEY ARE THREATENING ME SAYING THAT IF I DON’T PAY THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WITH MY NEW LEASE THEY WILL CHARGE ME WITH LATE PAYMENT FEES WHEN I'M NOT REFUSING TO PAY MY NEW RENT… THEY ARE THE WORST PLACE IN TOWN.. STAY AWAY!

This apartment complex has a lot going for it. #1 The apartments take advantage of a hilly site, eliminating the feeling of cookie cutter construction that many big complexes have. One of the first things that you notice, when visiting, is that the buildings have different angles to the street and to each other. Each building has individual landscaping that varies the trees, the shrubery and the walks. There are different creek landscapes and fountains. There is greenry where ever you might look. Sunrise Ridge landscape does not look like the desert it is in.Some of the apartments face outwards to the perimeter of the grounds and some face inward toward roads and parking. In no case, do you look into the neighbor's window from yours. It seems that privacy was part of the plan here. #2 There are 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments, and each provides a smart use of space. Livingrooms all have doors out to the patio or balcony and also a front entry. There are windows the livingroom, the kitchen, and in the bedrooms. All windows are openable for fresh air and are furnished with shutters in each room. Floors are carpeted throughout, making the space flow. (No stingy storage space here) There's storage next to the front door, a pantry in the dining area, storage in a central hall connecting the bedroom and bath. The bedrooms have walk-in closets. There is also a storage closet in the patio. These are my reasons for moving in. You can really have a life here! #3 You can't talk about a place to live without talking about the people. The people here are wonderful, friendly and real. There are social functions put on by our office staff and continous celebrations by the City. First you attend a cookoff or a pool party here, then meet enough people to find someone to go to the next arts festival or music fest downtown. These occasions are publicized in our Sunrise Ridge Newsletter or the Tucson Weekly, which you'll find in our mailbox area. Ask the Sunrise Ridge leasing manager to explain why our heating and cooling costs are so reasonable. I don't completely understand but I can only tell you that it has something to do with steam. You won't find more cost effective utilities than you do here. How can you ever say "no" to a tour of Sunrise Ridge? I'll see you then.

Avoid this place if you like your credit. They will claim you have late fee's and try to keep all of your deposit when you move out. The Manger is shill and rude, like the rest of the staff. Even if they replaced her I'm sure the company is still being ran like a Bankruptcy court. This place sucks and Tucson has much better to offer! =)
