Not sure about these other low reviews, but my apartment was awesome. Great location, and I was the noisiest neighbor by a long shot. I understand now that the management has changed, but when I was there they were very helpful. Today, the reason I'm writing this review, is because UPS redirected a package to my old address (without notifying me... really?), and the girl at the front desk (I called, I think her name was Dee) is being more than helpful with tracking it down. My maintenance requests were always processed quickly, and I got my deposit back in full - they did however hound me over a $12 waterbill I didn't pay when I left (I moved before billing was processed for the month). The biggest negatives I had of the place was the Indian guy who always smoked in the hallway (who probably hated me and my guitar), and that my truck got broken into (and the jerk stole a $5 pair of sunglasses). The apartment, and my Teal living room wall, was great!

Pros: I loved the location, and the units. I definitely felt safe. The tiered parking garage leading up to the apartments is GREAT, and a gated entry is nice. The pool is nice, and it is great that they have a 24/7 workout area, even if it is pretty old. Also, it's really close to a running trail, (just on the other side of 75). Also, it was the most affordable of the apartments in the area that were up to my standards. Cons: The workout area really needs renovation. None of the treadmills really work very well, and the weight area needs some new equipment. I got slapped with a $50 charge after I left and never really found out what exactly it was for. Also, you have to buy renters insurance, which ups the price a bit. Overall I'm happy I lived here. Not quite is nice as a couple of the apartments nearby like Churchill on the Park, but the price was right, and I enjoyed my stay.

I've lived in the Marquis at Park Central for almost two years, and I've already signed on for a third. This complex is nicely located just south of the intersection of US-75 and I-635, two of the major highways in the north Dallas area, making it relatively easy to get to most places in Dallas from here. The complex isn't new, but it's comfortable, attractive, and usually well-maintained. It has good amenities, and the staff has been friendly and engaging since the first day that I dropped by to check on apartment rates and take a tour. They knew me by name almost immediately, and customer service has been great whenever I've asked them for something or made a maintenance request. There are a few issues that keep things from being perfect: The main gate seems to be a constant maintenance problem. Even though it's normally fixed quickly, it's down a LOT: about 50% of the time, either due to cars hitting/pushing it or to random mechanical issues. I haven't had any trouble with crime related to my car or apartment, but I've heard that it was a problem at one point...though that was also true for most of the complexes in our area, and the manager hosted a security meeting to discuss the common-sense precautions we could take. The main thing that annoys me is the design of the parking garages: the placement of the support beams makes it difficult to access some of the parking places, and one has to be VERY alert to avoid scraping or bumping against one, especially if the car in the adjacent space is large or sloppily parked.

I moved in in September. I was a hesitant after reading the other reviews but moved in anyway. HAHA!!! Jokes on me! Everything that was stated in the review was true. Management is rude and unprofessional. They repair things in their own time and things that are urgent matters to you are not at all urgent to them. They are extremely non chalant and act as if you are bothering them when you inform them that something is wrong. They want their rent in full and on time but your being inconvenienced. If I could move right now, I would. I would not recommend that anyone move here. It has been such an unpleasant experience. The owners of this propoerty should send someone here undercover to see how these people operate. I am totally disgusted to say the least.

Management never answered questions reguarding broken AC unit, also never did anything about rude neighbors who threathened shooting us when confronted about being loud. The "Deposit" you will never get back, make sure you take pictures to cover yourself from shaddy management when you do leave this place. The gate system is a joke and is normally always broken, the place was pretty nice, but I cant help but hope the managment in this place all burns in a horrible wreck while on an office trip or something. That would only improve this company. Time spent here for me was over 2 years
