This review is long overdue: I moved out of this complex in October of 2014 after a little over 3 happy years there. I've lived in many apartments and this is hands down the best community. Quiet area, friendly neighbors, great location. This is the only complex that I've ever been sad to move out of because my neighbors were all so great. My only complaint is that in the 3 years that I was there, my rent increased by $400 per month for a two bedroom, two bath apartment. I understand that the rate increases probably went to property improvements (ie new exterior paint and interior upgrades), but it still didn't feel great to pay for upgrades that weren't taking place in my overall unit. The maintenance staff was very friendly and were always seen around the property picking up litter etc. Between the constant presence of the staff and my observant neighbors, I always felt very safe here. I can't really speak to how they handle repair requests, as maintenance was never an issue in my unit. I did know someone that had a mold issue in their apartment and they were offered a temporary hotel at no charge while their unit was under repair. Even though that sounds like the only obvious solution, you'd be surprised how many complexes don't care about the health/safety of their tenants or the condition of their apartments. Pros: large apartments, very little noise through the walls/ceilings, (mostly) friendly staff, beautiful grounds. Cons: it can be hard to find parking near certain buildings. cost. The only thing keeping me from going back is that the prices are always increasing way faster than my income and the included interior upgrades aren't enough to make up the difference. Overall, this is a great place to live if you can justify the cost.

My husband and I moved into our apartment after selling our large home with 2 acres. It had been a LONG time since we lived in an apartment environment, but Park at Crossroads was a great fit for us. We have an end unit with a garage and no one above us. We have had ZERO noise and could not be happier in an apartment living environment. The maintenance crew is great; quickly respond to every request and are friendly and helpful. The convenience of living so close to Walnut and everything that is offered in the area is a wonderful bonus! Especially since we lived a good 15 minutes from ANY of these convenient shopping areas! I don't have a single complaint. If we weren't moving out of state for new, fun experiences, we'd be perfectly happy staying in our current apartment.

I am so surprised by the bad reviews. I have lived in quite a few apartments and this is by far one of the best places I've ever lived. My apartment is beautiful and spacious. It's quiet and I love all the pools. I had a few problems and within an hour and a half maintenance had fixed the problem. I am so happy here If I could I would never leave!

I have been living here for more than 2 years 11 months and it's a beautiful community. There is everything with in 2 or 3 miles. The management is very helpful and they are available round the clock. So, I recommend who ever wants to move in this area. Regards Hazare

Updated 4/21/12: My partner and I have lived here for 14 months and STILL love it. We shopped around for quite a while and The Park gave us the best space, the nicest floor plan, and an attached walk-in garage for the most competitive renter's rate we could find in the Triangle. We love the location with all the convenience of being near Crossroads plus easy ways to escape the traffic and easy access to greenway trails. Noise has (still) never been a problem in our townhouse-style unit but I can't say for sure how the apartment-style units would be. Maintenance is friendly and has addressed both urgent and non-urgent requests with a quick response. Staff have always been polite and helpful to us. It is clear that the structures were built quickly (as most residential buildings are nowadays) but our unit is solid and comfortable with no major structural flaws. The indoor pool is clean and warm even in winter, and the outdoor pool is well-maintained. The gym is clean and good for basic work-outs. Recycling was added a month after we moved in. There is only one trash station for the whole community which is often also used by the neighboring community and this continues to be an oversight, but at the same time I don't know of a good solution given the neighborhood layout. The area is safe and well-lit and we know at least some of our neighbors. We continue to love our apartment and continue to recommend The Park to friends!
