The apartment itself is fine, but not very well maintained. Literally everything is crooked and the floors have big, hard bubbles in them in the kitchen and bathroom. All of that would be fine but for the water issue. For a 1 bedroom unit with 2 adult occupants, my water bill was $70. They apparently only have one meter for the ENTIRE COMMUNITY. One. The office confirmed that this does include the office's water use, the landscaping water use, the pool maintenance, the car wash, EVERYTHING. They then take that total number and divide it per occupant. So it's $35 a person for this month for sewage and water for the entire community. I will not be renewing my lease and I am strongly considering breaking my lease. I have heard of communities having one meter for each building, but not for the entire community. I'm completely and utterly disappointed in this apartment. The only upside is the maintenance people are friendly and helpful. The cheap rent is a complete lie. I am now paying $100 more a month than my "rent", once you include all of the ridiculous fees and overpriced water.
My husband I have loved living here. The maintenance and management are wonderful and the community is very quiet. We sadly have to move because we need a bigger space, but if they had apartments with more bedrooms we would definitely love to stay here for a long time!
My husband and I have lived there for 2 years, we like it. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. While we have had and are having some issues and concerns, the neighborhood is under new management and they seem to be active in remedying the issues/concerns. 05/06/15: New Update: As well as raising the rent and charging a Pet Fee and Monthly Pet Rent. Looks like I won't be getting a pet. Memorial Day is the weekend of 05/23/15 and that is when I have my 3 day weekend...will the pool be open? NO! My husband and I choose this location because it's gated and 2 pools. The gates break monthly and only 1 pool will be open. Seriously, if you can't hand the upkeep of the property, you shouldn't be raising the rent. Also, more often than not, my husband or I are travelling...I shouldn't be charged per person, it should be charged on usage. And why the hell am I paying for the water in the office, car care and sprinklers?
This place looks so nice from the outside, but beware!!! This place is infested with roaches. The leasing agent made it seem like they have a small bug problem because they're so close to the river, but the fact is that these apt have been there for a long time and so have the roaches. These aren't your regular sizes roaches, these roaches are the ones that are about 1.5 inches long and fly all over the place!!! To make it worst, the apt charges you a pest control fee!!! I would never recommend this place to any of my friends.
