Gates are still not fixed after 3 weeks ago I was assured that they would be working on it. Excuse asher excuse I just gave up and now I am forced to practice my gun rights as that is the only way I feel safe. We had 2 shootings, a car jacking and a domestic violence all in a months time. Management will tell you that "the front gates close at night" during a walk through which is a lie. I can't wait to be done. All in all the maintenence is fairly good, all things considering. The pools and amenities are nice but don't move in if you think this is a gated community because it is not and hasn't been for two years now. Crime has steadily increased once the last 16 months. So beware. I'll boo okay until I move out as I practice my 2nd amendment rights, but if you can't or rather choose not to defend yourself than it is not a good idea for you to live here. It's a shame because if they just took care of some business and fixed the gate than this would still be a nice place like it was 2 years ago.

I'm surprised by some of the reviews that I've just read. My experience with management has all been very positive. When I've had issues, they have been handled immediately. When I've rarely needed repair work, it has been addressed within 24 hours. Having lived in a few different apartment communities in my lifetime, I can easily say that this has been one of my better experiences. You can't blame management if you don't like your neighbors. Nothing is perfect in life. Your some other communities in Austin. For the money, Tintara is great.

I came with my daughter and her roommate this past summer looking at apartments for their sophomore college year. We decided on Tintara. Once the girls moved in the security entrance gate broke. It is still broken. Roommate's car has been broken into. My daughter had someone following her and some stranger showed up at their door. I called, once I found all of this out, and asked to be credited part of rent for at least one month. manager said security of our daughter's was not their responsibility and whether the gate is broken or not does not deter break ins. Huh??? They couldn't tell me when gate would be fixed and it is still broken. This should have any parent concerned. They were rude and plain disrespectful as it related to my daughter and her roommate. They would not let me talk to a supervisor or owner. They clearly really do not care about the safety of its' residences. I would not advise this place at all. it is not the property we signed a lease with and they will not do anything about it.

If I could rate zero stars I would. The only positive aspects about this place would be the location (close to HEB and other stores) and the maintenance staff given that they are polite and responsive when dealing with all the problems we have come across due to the shoddy way it was constructed/renovated. The biggest issue (ask everyone who has lived here and they will give you the same answer) is the management. Most of them are RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, and UNTRAINED. They "forget" to notify you that you have a package in the office, until you go ask about it a week after it was set to arrive, they ignore you when you walk in to their main office and keep talking to one another- it seems like they are never actually working, yet they are overstaffed as well. They rarely answer phones- resorting to hiring an answering service that cannot answer any questions and will take messages that go un-returned. They advertise their new renovations, which I can attest to having been living in a "newly renovated apartment" for the past 8 months, was done within two days of renovations by untrained workers. The vinyl flooring does not even lie flush to the wall, and all fixtures were attached with glue. We have had maintenance come help us fix things and even they say that the work was done with no pride and care. Other issues include insect problems, water damage on ceilings, windows that do not stay up when open, and dirty swimming pools. To top it off they took their website offline (even though it worked fine before) and have not bothered to set it back up on the scheduled re-launch date. This is a bit alarming because most people pay online, and with rent due already, you would think they would try to be timely so they can get paid. Even with the issue of the website failing to launch ON TIME, and their INCONSISTENCY, they are threatening late fees for those who do not want to pay with money orders or checks. If you want to avoid this hassle seek accommodation elsewhere. The reviews of this place speak volumes.

Management is horrible, me and my family moved all the way from Las Vegas Nevada. I have three kids and I'm being given a noise violation because my down stairs neighbor complained about my kids. My 11 month old is starting to walk from crawling and falls down. We are very strict with our kids. We do not party or play loud music. But my neighbor plays his BASS guitar loud and has his dog bark at 2 am in the morning. Then I get a eviction for breach of my agreement. Which they know is unlawful. Deceptive trade practice and discrimination suit will be filed against them.
