The only good thing is how close it is to campus.. I had a year long lease, and it was MILLIPEDE infested for 7 out of the 12 months. When I first went to the office, the manager said .. oh yeah sorry its just that time of the year... not for another FIVE MONTHS did they then go ahead and send someone out to fix it.. for the low price, your pretty much paying for what you get.

For the price and proximity to campus, it was a really good deal. There was a bit of a drain fly and cockroach problem while living on the first floor, but this was quickly remedied by placing roach repellent around all of the windows and doors. The drain flies were taken care of after reporting the situation. The only real problem we had was that the upstairs neighbors were batshit crazy. They were once the source of a second floor flood that rained down on our apartment and caused us a hell of a month, but maintenance responded efficiently enough that the flood situation was under control in minutes.

I'm a very content person, so when I'm left alone in my studio apartment--I'm super happy. I've had a few run-ins with the management team that weren't so great (they're kinda sketchy at times), but Renee is SUPER kind. My dishwasher maintenance request is 4-months old and still unaddressed--that's bothersome.

Honestly, if this isn't your absolute last resort for a living quarter, then I wouldn't recommend living here. My husband and I are both college students, and he happens to play for Sam (Eat Em Up, Kats) , so we aren't super hard to please. Also, we were sort of forced to live at Papermoon because he had to be there for the summer session and I needed to start my job, so we settled on the 1 bed, loft, and 1 bathroom apartment, because we thought that'd be good since his brother was also going to be moving in with us during the upcoming fall semester. Everything was fine until we started noticing that everything was really just falling apart. I put my towel on the towel rack one day, and it fell out of the wall. Then, as I was cooking, the eyes on the stove began to short circuit one by one. After this, there was a cockroach infestation that took them a whole WEEK to get back to me about when they were coming to spray. Now, my oven begins to loudly click and give off smoke terribly once you put the temp up to 300 degrees! They were completely against giving me a newER (notice that I wasn't asking for a brand new oven) because they didn't want to throw out a "completely good stove". I can't make this stuff up, guys. I completely understand that we are on a college campus and that the apartments are older than their counterparts, but some of these mishaps are simply inexcusable. ESPECIALLY since you're paying upwards of $800.00 a month to live here. The maintenance crew is completely understaffed, but they do the best they can. Overall, if you don't have to live here, then I wouldn't suggest it.

I have had nothing but problems out of these Apartments!!!! From my apartment flooding to black mold growing as well as Property Management being absolutely RUDE. I would NEVER EVER rent another "DTI property" again.
