I have been living here over a year. Its a quiet place to live and very affordable. Great location and they do a nice job keeping the grounds clean. I normally dont write reviews like this but I thought this place was well deserved.

Update, Thanksgiving (yesterday) 2013, 2pm: I was just starting to boil the first of 40 lbs of potatoes to mash for my night-shift coworkers, and the stove blew a circuit when I turned on the 2nd burner! Of all days! After 5+ years! My reseting the circuits wasn't working, so a call to the office (press 3 for emergencies, leave a message) at 2:25 was returned at 2:28. By 2:37, I had electricity, access to the panel I needed if the issue repeated, and the assurance of a checkup on Friday. Less than 40 minutes on a holiday for a 'catastrophe' fix? That's good service!! The potatoes got rave reviews. ;o) (original review)So I thought I'd counter some of the reviews with a longer-term resident's perspective. I've been there 6 years. Is it perfect? No. But contrary to another review, the laundry room works fine 99% of the time. The only trouble I've had there is when the card machine is broken, which happened once and took 3 days to get fixed (that sucked, I'll admit; I laundered at a local mat nearby). The pool's been refinished and is clean. Their is landscaping in grass, something newer complexes can't offer. If you take a lower unit, you risk hearing your upstairs neighbors (I've been lucky mine have been considerate); if you take an upper unit with the vault ceilings, the summer electric bills suck (the lower units are much more economical.) There's BBQs, there are two basketball courts (one full), most of the nieghbors are nice, it's a pretty decent place. This is a good spot if you need an economical location, and don't have a ton of belongings or need a large space (units are small). It's especially good for short term stays while you're looking for something more permanent, or a student at university (community or ASU), or a single person working downtown.

Do not live here. Freeway noise and airport noise is the least of it. Meth-heads everywhere. Roaches everywhere. Dog poop all over the grounds. Stray cats fighting at night. Sex offender notices in your mailbox so often it's not even funny - these people become almost all of your neighbors. Don't sign their lease forms, use a State of Arizona Department of Real Estate lease only!!! If you want to move out, they'll just state that you have to keep paying because you didn't give proper notice... when you do give notice, they'll then tell you because you didn't do one thing that you still have to keep paying. This is a great way for a company to swindle you out of 14 months of rent for a 12 month lease... if you don't give in, they'll ruin your credit. Rude staff, probably "only doing their job" they'll say, but most cannot write or speak above about a 5th grade level... no joke... not one of them.

Had to have re clean apt, floors as previous tenant had pets and could smell urine. No table/island like models had. Uh upstairs neighbor I swear is a frigging stomper. I hear cabinets slamming, windows slamming. I live on bottom of 3 floor apt and don't know if it's 2nd or 3rd floor keeps tossing cigarettes walkway below. Thankfully this is only temporary. I suppose it's fair compared to what you get in this price range normally. *update* had bike chained outside. Had it cut and stolen this past week. And workout area shares same area with lounge for wifi. So you can't even workout without having all these people just there. Not everyone wants to feel like being watched while working out. *update 9/12/13 noise complaint. neighbor upstairs plays continuous bass noise. all hours, times of day. filed complaint few days ago. stopped, neighbor is back at it again. walked into office to complain and sent email again as well. was told a letter would be sent out to resident. rather than "hey we can send someone down right now to fix this issue". i can have my AC unit running, and tv on and still hear/feel bass. *annoyed.
