I am renting the shared master bedroom in my apartment. Please note that this is a SHARED bedroom, meaning you have your bed and closet and furniture, etc on one side of the bedroom, and your roommate has her bed, closet, furniture, etc, on the other side of the same bedroom.

The bedroom is GIANT- 19 feet x 12 feet, and comfortably fits two full or queen sized beds, two dressers, two desks/bookshelfs, etc with room to spare. There are also two closets- your closet is a 6'x8' walk in closet, with two built-in shelves. Your side of the room comes furnished (if you want them) with a red leather armchair, a coffee/end table, a small shelf, and a bookshelf. If you don't want them, I can remove them before you move in.

The rest of the apartment consists of a second bedroom, a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom, a living room (futon, bowl chair, flatscreen hd tv equipped with FiOS cable, DVR, DVD player, Roku, Netflix, and Hulu Plus), dining area (Small table with 4 chairs), a front entryway area, and 2 large storage closets.

The building is in a beautiful, diverse neighborhood on the lower east side- it's a neighborhood full of young families, recent graduates, NYU students, and retired couples. The building has 2 elevators, a video intercom system, in-house laundry facility, and secure key card ID entry.

You'd be living with two working females in their twenties. One works nights from home for an internet marketing company, and the other works in the performing arts. We're easygoing, friendly respectful people, who value a clean, calm apartment, like nothing more than a good movie-and-wine night, and love Pandora Radio, the theatre, long-haired boys, and Central Park.

We're looking for: A FEMALE, at least 21 years old, non-smoker/non-drug user (social drinkers welcome, though!) , no pets, with a full-time job (or under the right circumstances, a full-time student), who is able to commit for at least 3 months, and preferably longer. You should be easygoing, neat, clean, organized, and have experience sharing a bedroom/apartment.

The room is immediately available, and move-in/move-out dates are negotiable. Rent is $1000/month including all utilities and air conditioning. Cable/internet/Netflix/Roku is an additional $50/month per person.
