One room available now in a 5 bedroom house in West Seattle (2 blocks from the West Seattle bridge, 5-10 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes from South Seattle Community College).

The room is large, but odd shaped - it's very long and narrow with a slanted ceiling, it works really well for some people, but if you're tall it might not work for you.. I lived in it for a while and loved it, and I'm 5'11.. It just depends on how you use the space. It is only $450 per month and that INCLUDES all utilities (electric/water/sewer/gas).

WE OFFER: A big house with friendly people. We have all the standard household luxuries: washer/dryer, dishwasher, wi-fi, a large fenced in yard (that was once a lovely garden.. and could be again..?), a huge front porch, plenty of driveway and street parking. House is right off buslines (120 & 125) and two/three blocks from the Delridge Deli-Mart, Subway, Teriyaki, Uptown Espresso, the Skylark Cafe, and the Chelan Cafe.

YOU: Pay your rent on time, clean up after yourself, are friendly, respectful of your housemates, etc. You're between 21-40, or close, and you have a job (or a million dollars in savings, whichever), also you are not a couple looking to share a room.

PETS: No dogs, sorry. Well behaved cats and other small pets are fine.

It's a 5 bedroom house so there will be a total of five people in the house, and there is only one bathroom.. but usually everyone has varying schedules and it's never been a problem in the past.

Rent plus a deposit (deposit = one month rent) moves you in. If necessary you can pay half the deposit now and half at your next paycheck. There's a six month lease and then it's month to month after that. When you email, please let me know when you're free to come see the place and also include info about yourself, your facebook link, etc. We get a lot of responses and aren't gonna bother with those who just write, "I want the room."
