Very spacious room available in 2 bedroom apartment with doorman, elevator and
laundry in the basement. Room has lots of light, two full-size closets, and
will be furnished with a full bed, lamp, chair, small desk, and side table.
The apartment building is a short walk to the 96th street express subway (4
min), and a 20 minute walk to Columbia. It is also ideally positioned between
Riverside Park and Central Park. Common area includes stocked kitchen. Large
bathroom with full bathtub and window. High ceilings in pre-war building. Two
stops on subway to Times Square. Easy access to cross-town buses. Grocery
store one block away, tons of restaurants, shops and gym nearby.
The rent is $1450/month plus about $50 for utilities. We would pro-rate the
rent depending on move-in and -out dates. Available from June 1 - July 15
(move-in date is flexible and can be earlier). Your roommate would be a 29
year old female PhD student. She is a friendly, considerate non-smoker. Dogs
are permitted (no cats -- sorry, allergies!)
