My roommate and I are subleasing our 2 bedroom apartment (53rd and Woodlawn)
from June 10th till the end of August. The newly renovated apartment has two
spacious bedrooms and a living room (which may be used as a third bedroom if
needed), a kitchen with all appliances (fridge, freezer, toaster, stove, oven,
microwave, toaster, dish washer, sink), and a full bathroom. The apartment
will be furnished with essentials such as beds, desks, a couch, tables
(dining, living room), chairs, rugs (for bathroom and a couple of rooms), an
extra fridge in one of the rooms, etc. We are willing to cover all utilities
for whomever rents the apartment. If two people rent the apartment, the total
per month is 665/person.
Our apartment is a 10-15 minute walk to the University of Chicago campus. The
172 bus also stops directly in front of the apartment and takes you to campus
(students ride free) in 5 minutes. It is also located right across the street
from a large shopping center which includes stores such as CVS and several
