Jeremy Carroll: A perfect combo if a Californian laid back attitude and bountiful delicious Mexican food. Such a cute place with real friendly vibes, and how can you go wrong with fresh chips and salsa?
Jeremy Carroll: Pommes frites fries potatoes. That may not sound spectacular enough, but these are the French fries to end all French fries. Not to mention the plethora of killer sauces (30+) that will keep you coming back again and again and again.
Jeremy Carroll: While business has boomed for these lucky brothers, the original two bros pizza is still on st. Marks place. A slice from two bros is the nicest thing you can buy your tummy for a buck.
Jeremy Carroll: Mamoun's without a shadow of a doubt will whip you up the best falafel you ever had the pleasure of digesting. Be warned though, their homemade hot sauce is only for the strong and then foolish. Just get one drop, take a bite and try and keep a straight face.
Jeremy Carroll: A New York punk icon since its heyday in the seventies, there's no better place to adorn yourself in black leather and metal spikes. The longtime chief of staff Jimmy is such a character, if you're lucky you may hear some tall tales of the glory days.
Jeremy Carroll: While I can't directly comment on the quality of the school, this is easily one of the most beautiful buildings in the neighborhood. The exquisite details in the spires, arches and windows just cannot be cannot be properly captured by photos.
Jeremy Carroll: One of the few remaining subway stations with such elaborate design and antiquated elegance. Almost makes riding the subway worth it!
Jeremy Carroll: If you are are ever in the east village and need some free entertainment, just gather some tourists and get the old cube spinning! (it's more agile than it looks)
Jeremy Carroll: It's creepy little stone heads like these that serve as a reminder to look up more often when wandering the streets of New York.
Jeremy Carroll: A lovely little cobblestone street between 7th and 8th near Washington square. Home to many foreign studies buildings for NYU, the vines and European decor are just sublime.
