    Bloc 11 Is one of the hippest coffee shops in Union Square. The building used to be a bank, and patrons can sit in the actual vaults and play boardgames while they sip their java and tea. Definitely not to be missed. Try the London Fog!!

    Don't let the modest outside appearance fool you, because this is the top place in Davis for BBQ, and one of the famous places to eat and drink, period. I love sitting at the bar, where you can spin the beer wheel and let physics choose your beer for the night. You can also sit right by the grill and watch the meat get cut right before your eyes. This place is down home, and the service is fun, pleasant, and speedy. Any trip to Davis that doesn't include Redbones is missing out.
