Traffic calming signs are good. But, we would much rather have: protected, direct, and accessible crossings at 520 not requiring long waits for pedestrians and cyclists on their way to the UW or to the future Light Rail Station. They need to be located on both sides of Montlake Blvd. We would also like traffic calming measures on our streets that are used as shortcuts when traffic jams on 24th Ave E. 23rd, 25th and 26th need to be protected now, and the same can be said for Lynn, Louisa, McGraw, Miller etc.. Commuters must stay on 24th.
This neighborhood has a low Walk Score but incredible views.
