They wouldn't let me boyfriend move in because we were not married. What kind of bs is that? What if we don't believe in marriage? They need to watch what they say before they have a lawsuit on their hands.

Rented with this company in two different apartments - I have no idea why I thought the second time would be better. Take note of all of the other negative reviews online; incompetent and unhelpful staff, changing building managers every two weeks, excessive fees and deductions on deposit despite having apartment professionally cleaned upon moving out, warning notices constantly stuck on door for non-existent issues, and they will try and apply charges in any way or form where possible. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I recently rented an apartment at 1550 bay st. in SF. DO NOT RENT HERE. First of all, I believe their moto must be something like this: "how can we possibly make it more difficult for our customers?" From the lease requiring 38 initials and 20 signatures, to the incompetence to the employees, to the inflexible payment methods, to the cleaning policies and rules, et. etc... this place is horrible. Again - DO NOT RENT HERE

Terrible management...real assholes managing apts making up rules as they go along. When they think they can get a better rental rate they goof up your mail and package deliveries, break your ventilation, etc until you move out so they can jack up the rent.

Thought I had reserved an apartment that I saw at 1000 Chestnut, but the management rented it out from under me, then suggested I rent a different apartment - despite the fact that the previous business day I had been told that no others were available. Classic bait-and-switch. I won't rent from them. Just want to warn others, because if this is how the management acts before a tenant has signed a lease, it doesn't bode well for their behavior afterward.
