I moved into this place with a friend and in the beginning it was great, then we started having problems with some of our appliances. Our washer/dryer combo started acting up, it wasn't drying clothes within one cycle it took 3 cycles to dry clothes and 4 to dry towels. When we told management they said they'd send someone within 2 days. Five days later someone showed up and basically told us to make sure we took our clothes out of the washer as soon as they were done to get them dry. When we told management about the incident they just smiled and said they'd get right on it. They never did, and we ended up having to do really light loads, splitting one load into 3, or spend most of our days off doing laundry. My complaint is mainly with how this place is run. The apartments and the area itself is beautiful and well maintained, just make sure nothing breaks in your apartment.

I am truly unhappy here. Going on 3 years feeling stuck. When I moved in here there was a different staff very nice set of people. They actually cared and treated you like part of their family/community. We would go into the office andy felt welcomed. 3 Years later you go into the office and can't help to feel that weird awkward feeling with the office people. Kids aren't welcomed into the computer room nor are hey welcomed into the theater room. They used to make popcorn for the kids and be caring and nice. Thats not all but even maintenance workers were way different back in 2012. There used to be a different manager, wish I could remember his name, He was always so nice, gave your issues in the apartment importance and did his best to assure you that it would get taken care of. Then the complex replaces him with this guy Douglas. Horrible!!!!!! He also moved in in front of the playground and pool area. He complains about all the kids in the complex, recording them with his phone, complaining about them to the front office. My kids cannot play at the playground without getting a complaint from the office stating that we left trash behind or what not. All these allegations being false since I was monitoring them. Once he had an altercation with my 50+ babysitter that the kids were not being watched. I even got a letter from the office of so when she was there in flesh and blood. I was so upset I called the corporate office many times. NO ONE EVER RETURNED MY CALLS. Super disappointed of this. Once for veterans day I had an emergency leak under my sink. I paged the pager. No one showed up until 3 days later. The wood had raised from under the sink. Couldn't use my sink. I again, complained to the corporate office…Not a single call back. What the heck? Who's running this facility? Not to mention the jacuzzi turning green every other week and the grill that was broken for over 3 months. Did I mention they just raised the rate and the quality of living has deteriorated!!!!!!! And today I was at the pool with my kids,We were leaving and they had forgotten their googles in the deep end. They asked me if they could use the long net to get them out as they did not want to get back in the pool. I thought as any parent sure. Then never the less Douglass the maintenance supervisor comes up to the pool area and addresses them NOT ME, but them that if they tear the net they will be responsible for replacing it. What the hell????? Im sitting right there. He quickly left and it was good he did because I was going to give him a piece of my mind. Felt like knocking at his door and confronting him but writing a review is much more effective since our pleas cannot go through to anyone. Hopefully someone with half a brain from this facility or corporate will read this and take hands into the matter caring for this facility and the residents in it. A quick note, we are not allowed grills on our patios but Douglas has one and uses it out in the open while drinking beer in his patio as well as in the park area which is right in front of his apartment. Good luck to those who choose to move in here as for me, it is my highest goal this new years to find the means to move out and break my lease.

DON'T MOVE HERE! yes it looks very nice but don't fall for that! We wanted a gated community that was one of the reasons we moved in there but like a week after moving in the gates broke and we're NON FUNCTIONING for 2 months!!! Thus letting a skunk into the complex and my dog got sprayed! Not only that but they tell you all these perks and when you ask them to elaborate on the details they tell you not to worry about it or change the subject! We we're chosen for a "affordable housing unit" and had to break our lease when I asked Jennifer about how to go about this (this was our first apartment) she said that we can make 3 installments on what id owed. Ok cool I said and went about my day thinking everything is hunky-dorey but NO what she meant is we can make installments on charges. Ohh so you lied to me even when I repeated myself to make sure I was hearing you correctly? Even when they offer if maintenance doesn't respond in 24hrs you get $500 of next months rent they find corners to cut on there too! Which I will say I was expecting because I work in retail and I know how corporate people make everything seem appealing until you get to the fine print but I must say where I work, we keep to our word! We had something the needed repairs and the came while we were at work and it wasn't fixed so the next day I called and said you know we didn't get anything fixed so that means we get $500 of rent. They said no cause they had to order a part. Well why didn't you call me? Leave a note? An email? They will do anything they can to weasel their way out of their promises!!! Don't move here!!!!!!

The apartments are nice, although the cleaning people did a horrible job and I had some issues that needed taken care of upon move-in, and after almost 2 weeks and multiple trips to the management office I think it might get taken care of soon. Also the office often closes early without notice, and since they dropped the rent for new renters recently there are some "weird" people moving in.

I wish I could give Tuscany Ridge a better rating. I lived there for almost 2 years and it was a nice apartment and I had nice neighbors. But the Management is on my list of the worst I've ever encountered! The office staff were always reluctant to answer any questions. I was always directed to the Manager who was also always unavailable. Stopping by the office 2 or 3 times before finally hearing back from someone was not uncommon. The facilities were great. The maintenance staff (which changed a few times) were initially great and their replacements were nice if not always very helpful. But having to deal with the management office was almost always a pain. They were always well dressed, some were even professional (but most were border line, and that's being kind) And the worst part, was the helpful professional staff always seemed to leave and find better jobs elsewhere. Tuscany Ridge offers nice facilities and nice apartments, but when it comes to paying your rent, requesting receipts, or anything to do with your lease, be ready to be met with confrontation (and alot of stonewalling) and a lot of useless jibber jabber. And don't ever expect them to your return your call... you'll have to be home before 5 so you can personally walk into the office and hope to catch the manager.
