I read the previous submissions. Linda was a mouthy, sarcastic bully. I currently have a family overhead who are loud, dismissive and disrespectful. I have made several complaints to the current management about the children who jump off the furniture and onto the floor-repeatedly and constantly. The (so-called) adults continuously 'shhh' the children, to no effect. I understand the children must get out to let off steam...the adults are unwilling or unable to stop the screaming and noise these children engage in. The little boy uses a scooter that he has little, to control of, and he does not wear a helmet. When the children are jumping off the furniture it 'rains' the ceiling material down onto me, my belongings, carpet...etc. Constant jumping causes structural damage. Also, the damage to the bones and muscles of young children is serious. As a long time resident of Southridge Apartments (over 20 years) I must agree with other submittees that Southridge has become 'slummy'. I won't be harsh-but, as a long term resident who works hard and expects to come home to peace and quiet, I'm very dissatisfied. This family should never have been placed in an upstairs unit. I will be calling DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) with the only intention of getting this 'family' the obvious help it needs.

We have lived here for 5 months now and all i can say is bad things. The people that live here even the ones who do not live close to me in this complex have nothing but bad things to say about here and I dont blame them beacuse I do to. This place is not even worth living in. I felt like I just wanted to rip up that rent agreement Linda is not a nice person heartless is not even beging to explane this slum lord she evicted use because our dog got lose what about all the cats that rome everywhere!? The manager is very mean and nasty, she has no regaurd for the rules she makes. I would not recomend moving here, the rent is 1,400 a month, the walls are paper thin this place would best be discribed as a hell hole WITH A EXTREAMLY BAD MANAGER!!!!!!!

Apartments are located very close to La Verne and Claremont, not in bad area of Pomona. The complex itself is filled with trees (rareity in the area), so there is a lot of shade from the sun. Management is exceptional and understanding.

BEWARE! Slumlord alert at this complex... The extemely low deposit and rent is for a reason. They can't keep their units full because of their mistreatment to the tenants at this complex. The apartment is misleading when going on the initial tour. What initially looks like a nice apartment is actually updated extremely poorly. Vents are painted over. Maintenance is terrible. Issues are seldom taken care of in a timely manner, if at all. I was one of the unfortunate one's to have a lease at this establishment. Repairs in the common areas are seldomly taken care of in a timely manner. There were even issues where around the complex where there were HUGE holes in the entry to the second floor entry's. It took an intervention from the city of Pomona for them to correct the hole. The laundry facilities frequently have broken washers/dryers. The management does not take care of roaming animals (mainly cats) on the property. So, if you have alergies I STRONGLY recommend you look elsewhere. The roaming animals on the property will frequently lay around various unit. I made several complaints to the management concerning the issue and nothing was done to take care of the issue. And to top everything off, after I moved out of this place I was charged a repainting fee of $70. I have never heard of a repainting fee for a unit that had NO painting issues. They repainted before I had moved in. I STRONGLY ADVISE TO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!

Management is incompotent. I moved into these apts on false pretenses thinking that it was safe area. Boy, was I wrong. My car was broken into 3 times within 6 months and mgmt was unwilling to ensure the safety of it's residence. The property looks very decent on the outside, but the inside has been painted over and too many things have been left unfixed.
