When I first moved in, it wasn't so bad. The price was good, too. Then as time progressed, the residents got worse. It wasn't just my neighbors, it was a lot of people in the building. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. What really annoyed me is when I first moved in, there was no restaurant. My apartment was on the second floor. When they put Taps & Tequila, it was literally right below my apartment. The music was extremely loud. When I asked them to turn it down, they did, but it was still loud. The walls are paper thin there. I couldn't get a peaceful night's sleep. I should have asked them to lower my rent because I didn't sign up to have a restaurant blasting music directly below my apartment. I would try looking for a better place. You've been warned.

Update...April 2015- The staff here are great. Still like the apartment. The amenities are nice. What isn't nice are a few of the residents. The partying in the courtyard until all hours (usually it wraps up around 4:00am most days), the residents who think they have an invisible maid to clean up their trash all over the halls and parking garage, the residents who think that it's okay to let their dogs defecate and urinate in the halls, in the stairwells, on the sidewalks, in the parking garage and not clean it up, the people (including Taps and Tequila--the in-building watering hole) who don't realize that sound reverberates through the courtyard and parking garage...especially when the tunes are cranked up,and the "Let's change the policy and prices for the parking garage without notice and let people going to see the Rays park in the garage so Taps and Tequila can get more business". I feel sorry for the people who work here and bust their butts to try make it a better place. I won't be staying another year. November 2014-I am really happy here. The people that work here are nice and helpful. They seem to be making a lot of changes based on the poor reviews because the halls smell fine, the water is fine, and I see employees cleaning every day. I also like the industrial style of the apartments, so if you aren't into that and need carpet and oak cabinetry, this is not the place for you.

I'd be willing to create a more well thought out review if they would fix the parking garage elevator that is broken for the 6th time since I moved in 8 months ago, and has presently been broken for an entire month all while they continue to charge me an additional monthly parking fee. It's that kind of stuff that is absolutely the difference between resigning a lease and not.

I have lived here for two years, the price for the location is good, but save yourself a lot of heartache and don't move here. The parking is horrendus, and expensive, the building is very old an is in very bad shape, the air conditioning units are easily 50 years old and need to be replaced. The apartments are highly infested with bugs and roaches, and building carpets often smell like pee. The leasing office staff is nice, but f you ever need their help with anything they are worthless. Happy Apartment Hunting, and don't say I didn't warn you!

This place gets a bad rap in reviews but honestly I don't think it's as bad as it used to be. Pros: -I moved from out of state and didn't know a single person. Most of the people who live here are really nice, including the staff. -They recently replaced the dingy carpet in the elevator with vinyl hard-wood style flooring at it looks great. I'm guessing the halls are next, so put down your pitch forks people. -I had the option of requesting a 10th floor apartment that overlooks downtown. The view is sick. -The football team that used to live here got kicked out. They thought they ran the place (lol) so I'm pretty happy about that. -Since pest control has been spraying regularly I haven't seen one bug. This used to be a problem. -Affordable for what I pay for rent/ parking/ utilities. Cons: -Dog owners who don't clean up their poop. I have a dog and clean up after her daily, and it's such a rare sight that the maintenance staff regularly thanks me for being responsible. Really? -If you face 9th street like me there is a lot of street noise from sirens and motorcycles. Alternatively, apartments on the inside of the building have courtyard/ bar noise. It's tolerable, but don't live here if you are overly sensitive to noise. -Yes the elevators are slow as hell and regularly get stuck. It's like Russian Roulette when they will go out next. I do know that they are putting money into them so it's not a lost cause. -The building is just pretty old in general and has a history. I'm ok with this, but if you are looking for everything to be new and shiny, go to Fusion (but pay hundreds more per month). Overall, I would recommend this community to a friend. It's just still a work in progress.
Most errands can be accomplished on foot.
Flat as a pancake, excellent bike lanes.
