This is truly one of the worst run companies I have had to deal with. Lucky for them that they are the only apartment company on this campus because not only are their "newly renovated" apartments terrible and so far overpriced, they may have the worst customer service on planet earth. The people who run this company are completely incompetent and clearly have no clue what they are doing. They are extremely rude to their tenants, they make information up to charge more and absolutely no clue what they are doing. If you can avoid using this company, it is for the better.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. My experience with this property management company has been a nightmare. They don't fix problems in the apartment. Overpriced. I've been living there for three months of the summer, today, they call to have my car towed. $160. Campus Hill classic response, "there is nothing we can do" ... Have a nice day.

1. Living at a campus apartments(campus hill) property is awful. 2. Management thinks that unhappy customers won't ruin their reputation but it already has live at part point or campus west. They are worth the money and have 10 times the amenities. 3. The maintenance is reckless and have little knowledge on fixing the cheap issues on every property. *I will forever attempt to ruin the reputation of this leasing company*

Do not rent from this company, you will deeply regret it if you do. We dropped our check off days before leaving campus. A month later we started receiving late fees on our account. When we called them to see what was happening they said they never received our last payment. We asked them to look for it because we dropped it off and they said they would get back to us. No one ever called back, so we called again. We went through this cycle four more times and emailed them twice. Each time someone said they would look into it and get back to us. No one ever did and rather than calling us to get payment, which we said we would pay online if they couldn't find the check, they took us to collections!!!!!!! WE HAD TO PAY ALL THE UNWARRANTED LATE FEES AND THE COLLECTION FEE!! All because they lost our check and lied about getting back to us. THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST!

Please read this whole review, so that you may learn from my mistake of signing a lease with this terrible company. Manager Glen Brown will happily lie to you to shut you up about their absurd policies. I scrubbed my apartment clean (far cleaner than the condition in which it was given to me), asked Glen about the cleaning fee, as was told—point blank—that I would not receive a cleaning charge if the apartment was clean. Instead, I received an $80 charge for carpet cleaning and another $80 charge for general cleaning. Because I took photographs of before and after, I brought this issue up to management to see what could be done, and after a month-long battle came back empty-handed. This company takes advantage of the fact that students will be leaving immediately following the end of their lease and takes their security deposit, giving them no chance to fight for it within the 30 days required by law. The deductions taken from my security deposit were unlawful considering the condition of my apartment before and after, but Campus Hill cited that this information was in my contract when I signed it. This is true, but contract clauses are routinely invalidated when they actually break the law, as in this case, since a landlord can only deduct cleaning fees for what is considered to be excessive filth. Since I was out of the country following the end of my lease, I could not fight this and Campus Hill was more than aware of this, all for $160. In addition to this horrible experience, I have another story that one-ups it: theft. I called regularly for service requests considering the multiple problems with my apartment (broken dishwasher, broken blinds, broken plumbing, broken thermostats, broken laundry machines, just to name a few). During these service requests, management entered my apartment while I was gone and made the necessary repairs. What I didn't know while this was going on was that in between repairs for other apartments, Campus Hill agents would enter my apartment and steal goods. Collectively, I had over 70 Adderall and 50 Dexedrine pills (I had been counting them because I suspected theft) as well as $2000 in jewelry stolen. There were never any signs of forced entry, I locked my door at all times, and only Campus Hill had a duplicate key. I filed a police report and the officer told me that in the area, only Campus Hill properties were subject to theft, the method of entry was the same, and that Campus Hill was highly uncooperative with the police. When I confronted Campus Hill about this issue, the agent raised her voice sharply and told me that I was only making allegations. A couple weeks later, I learned of Campus Hill spending six figures on new locks and enhanced security measures for their apartments and office. That doesn't sound like a company with nothing to hide. The point of this review—if it hasn't been made obvious—is that Campus Hill is an incredibly deceitful, harmful, and incompetent company. If you're a student looking for an apartment, I wholeheartedly recommend you take your business elsewhere.
