Nothing really special for the huge amount of rent.

Just don't live here. That's the best advice I can give. Rents upwards of $2600/mth for 650 sq ft. The units that are "renovated" are just re-painted and not that different from the regular units. Constant noise, construction and HUGE inconveniences. They give little to no notice for things like needing you to vacate your unit for inspections, shutting off water in the building, elevators out of order, etc. This place is a JOKE. Yes it has a nice location and a pool, but bratty loud children use it all summer and the gym has mediocre equipment. Maintenance guys are super nice and hard working - just a shame the property owners are such clowns.

We pay an horribly high amount of rent for poor workout equipment, lazy maintence people and TERRIBLE elevator service (which has not been inspected for over a year). On the plus side, the views are incredible. The Management is poor and seems to be more concerned about thier own "enhancements" as well as happy hour than keeping a clean, well run apartment building. By the way, rent does not include water, sewer or trash. If I were you, go on the rental tour, take a picture on the balcony and rent somewhere else near University Ave. You will not regret it.

LOVE living at the Marc. Convenient, clean, nice grounds. The management is helpful and friendly. Expensive, but what in Palo Alto is not?
