RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!! When we first moved into this apartment we thought it was going to be clean and quiet... We were so wrong. We got stuck signing up for a second year because by the time we realized our lease was almost up we had no where else to go. Our neighbors would leave trash in the hallway and when going onto the balcony, we could see our neighbors hanging their clothes on the balcony and had a lot of trash. What a view!! We started noticing a lot of cockroaches around the premises and in the hallway. Neighbors are also loud. We even had experienced a neighbor barking at a dog to make it bark. Hallways always smell of cigarette smoke or weed. We approached the leasing office but they kept telling us emails were sent and they were supposedly doing walk throughs during the day to look at balconies and hallways. We finally had enough and paid over $2500 to break our lease and a month and a half later they are still trying to get more money for supposed damage made to the apartment. I tried calling leasing office for a month to schedule a walk through of the apartment before vacating but they never got back to me. They do not care about the residents there. All they care about is how to get more money out of you. Do not rent from these people. They are horrible!!!!

After reading the reviews for this place, I have to say I was a bit nervous about moving in. We decided to take a chance on them since we loved the layout of the town home we were moving in to. We have been here a month now and so far everything is great! The ladies in the office are genuinely helpful and friendly. The community is pretty quiet, the pool is beautiful and clean, the gym is great and has newer and better machines than my current gym that we were signed up with, and the mail room is secure, you need a key to get in it. Overall, we've had a great experience so far, our home is beautiful and everything works good and looks pretty new, the gates at the front open & close throughout the day, they don't stay open like some other complexes do and, oh, the property is well maintained and very clean with lots of beautiful palm trees throughout. I would totally recommend this complex to family and friends.

Renter Beware! Before you even consider moving here please research! They are the slums of Rancho Cucamonga! The office staff is a joke under the leadership of Carmen Mayorga; she is a horrible office manager with ZERO people skills and no understanding of any issues. Everyone in the office is extremely condescending. Ok, don't take my word for it but if you even consider living here at the Verano Apartments and they take you on a tour look around for yourself. Come back at night and see exactly what I'm talking about. The patios are horrible and full of trash, does management care? NO. My neighbors have trash on their patio, their whole patio is a violation of the leasing agreements... do they care? NO! The hallways smell like weed at night. Do they care? NO! If you have kids I wouldn't suggest living here. This place is pretty bad. Remember I told you so!

I like Verano for it's resort like pool, I am hardly bothered by noise, I do hear my neighbors slamming doors and stomping around but that is gonna be the case at any complex. My biggest complaint would be the staff and security. The security is creepy and checks out myself and any friends that I might have with me... it's disgusting and uncomfortable. They watch people in the pool for pleasure, not as part of their job, they are not lifeguards. The security is also very cocky and will come to your apartment if they see there are girls there, they act as if they are telling you to be quiet but they really just are bored. They watch you in the gym and have even come in to chat, creepy. I've caught them sleeping in their cars late at night also. Also, getting anything fixed is a joke. It takes forever and is not a priority unless you make it an issue. They are not consistent or considerate when it comes to issues. Also, I have had my mailbox wide open when going to pick up my mail. I don't know if someone is getting into it, or the postman is not doing his job correctly. I'm starting to get fed up and grossed out. Security really is my biggest complaint.
