By far the WORST place I have lived in Orlando and I've been here for 10 years. The staff is extremely unhelpful, whether you have a maintenance issue or a noise complaint. And trust me, you WILL have noise complaints. The entire complex is full of college kids that stay up partying until 5-6am EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. The staff does nothing to stop them or protect the rights of other residents. The apartment complex is the site of FREQUENT crimes, from shootings to walking outside and quite literally finding cars up on blocks with all 4 tires stolen. The staff will straight up lie to your face about these things happening. Almost every appliance in my apartment has broken once, while the AC has broken several times and eventually had to be replaced. I had to wait months just to get it replaced, leading to extremely high electricity bills in the mean time that the office staff refused to help with. The pool area is full of people every single night smoking pot and getting drunk. The entire complex is simply run down, dangerous, and LOUD at all hours of the day and night. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

I haven't experienced any problems since moving into the Bishop Park Apartment complex, some of the comments below almost seem absurd to me (like maybe whomever wrote them has a lot to complain about everything). The front office employees are extremely nice and helpful. Victoria is who we originally talked to and who showed us around the complex and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. The gate is often left open but when it is working properly I do see people frequently abusing it (multiple cars following in behind other cars without using their gate key) which is probably one of the reasons behind it not working properly, which I think is something you should expect when living in an apartment home. I appreciate that they keep new air filters at the front office so that you can replace them whenever you need to, I've known other complexes whom you'd have to file a maintenance request to have one replaced which can be a hassle. I have experienced a few noisy nights but nothing unbearable or worthy of making a fuss about, and if you're going to be a grinch about some kids having a good time every now and again maybe you should find a nice cave somewhere. This is a city that dwells with college students so I would expect to hear some conversation going on outside every once in awhile. I have two dogs so the bark park was a huge bonus for me when moving here, and about a week after we moved in they actually expanded it so that was nice. It's a good area for them to stretch their legs and play with the other dogs in the neighborhood, and they usually keep the park lit at night for those late-nighters. I haven't had any problems with fleas since we've been here but I also keep my dogs on monthly flea prevention, so if you do as well than it shouldn't be a problem. The pool area is nice, it always seems very clean and I also never notice a lot of trash left around the complex. We've had a problem with our AC and our water heater since living here, but maintenance responds very quickly and we haven't had problems since. I know that a lot of the apartments are different, some have upgrades and others don't, and of course if you want the upgrades you're going to pay a little extra. We got lucky and got a private entrance with a pretty decent view of the pond at no extra cost, but we did decide to pay a little extra so that we could have the laminate flooring and updated counter tops in our kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen appliances aren't upgraded but they work perfectly so I wouldn't expect them to be, the fridge is a little small but doable. I encounter people frequently while walking my dogs and everyone seems very friendly, and the office often organizes events for the residents so they can come out and socialize. I haven't heard of any robberies. (but robberies are something that are going to happen everywhere no matter where you live, unfortunately). The apartment I live in is very well-lit so during the day we rarely have to turn a light on which looks good on our electricity bill. The patios are a great size, the lawn is well kept, the apartments are nice, the people are friendly, maintenance is responsive, staff does a great job, oh, and they recycle! All-in-all I have found Bishop Park a wonderful place to live!

GOOD: *The maintenance guys are very friendly and respond quickly when there is a problem *The pool area is nice *The two bedroom apartments have a nice open living room BAD: *The office ladies are highly incompetent (Jessica is the only one who has any idea how to do her job) *The office claims NO responsibility This one requires a story. While living at bishop park, I had all four tires of my car stolen, and my car left up on cinderblocks in the Bishop Park parking lot. When I mentioned to the office they tole me that there was nothing they could do (not even fix the broken front gate) and that i had to pay all repairs on my own. (It was over 2,000). * The noise is terrible I've raised complaint to the office about my partying neighbors to which I have practically gotten a "deal with it" attitude. * Rent gets more expensive every time you renew a lease (mine went up $250.00) * NO ONE gets their deposit back This I don't know for sure, but from what i have heard from my neighbors/friends in the complex, and from my own experience, not a single person has gotten their deposit back. (many deserved a return) Overall I would not recommend this complex. I've lived here for over a year, and can't wait until my lease is up.

Terrible place to live. Jessica, one of the sales reps, puts on a fake "happy" personality to lure you into an apartment. My AC has broke twice and flooded a part of the apartment. It took them a week both times to fix the AC. I had to run the AC constantly to at least have air flowing in my 80 degree apartment. Because of that, my electric was higher than usual. I politely asked for the electric bill to be at least half imbursed but Jessica shut me down immediately. DO NOT LIVE IN BISHOP PARK!

Don't waste your time living here. Don't waste your time even talking to them. Their community gate is always broken. My 3 years of living there I've never seen it fixed. When I initially moved into the complex I didn't have any hot water for days because they never replaced the broken water heater and never informed me that the water heater wasn't working before I moved in. It took about a week and a half in order for them to replace it. Then when I had left for thanksgiving break which was about a couple weeks after I moved in, my whole apartment was flooded due to pipes bursting from the upper level. They had never informed me that this had happened in my apartment. I came home to a completely flooded apartment and had no idea what happened. When I questioned everything and why they never contacted me they acted like nothing ever happened. Then the manager tried to say she did call me, but I showed in my phone that I've never received a call from anyone or even an email. The rent is way too much for what they are offering. I've seen apartments nicer than this complex that offered rent for much cheaper. Also they raise their rent about $200-$300 when you sign a new lease. It costs over $1000 for a small one bedroom with OLD APPLIANCES! It's a complete rip off. They also refuse to let me terminate my lease due to me having to suddenly move and my lease ends the end of January, but they are pushing me out to March because they failed to inform me that I have to submit a written notice within 60 days of leaving. I had no idea that I was leaving and they refuse to let me terminate my lease early in order for me to move. Don't even bother moving here let alone even speak to them about their complex. Don't fall into their trap.
