After 5 years I am so glad to be out of there. We have had roaches with NO help from the management (the roaches came from a unit next door when the drug dealing guy bailed in the middle night), termites (which all they did was squirt some stuff in 1 hole in the wall, and now they are back), loud harassing neighbors that the management said to keep complaining everyday so they had a case and then after a few months said they weren't going to do anything (those neighbors got evicted for not paying rent months later), horrible families with loud disrespectful kids screaming in front of your window, dogs peeing and pooping all over with no leases (seriously, don't go in the grass, one kid got a rash all over his body when he played in the grass area), etc. I could go on and on but I won't. I will say I loved my apartment. I had the split level and it was great, which is why I gave it 1 star. I would have stayed just for the apartment, and I absolutely hate moving, except they sent me a letter saying they were raising my rent $140!!! Quality of life there sucks unless you are one of those inconsiderate people who could care less about your neighbors, then you probably would like it. Plus, what I just learned is that they charge a MANDATORY professional $110 cleaning fee when you move out. You may as well not even clean because they will charge you it no matter what. The manager Angie told me this as we did my final inspection and also said she didn't want to put it email/writing (probably because its not legal). Mind you, when I did the pre-move-out inspection the maintenance guy Pedro told me I didn't have to do anything. I asked him 3 times because I didn't believe that and the third time I asked he said "just move your stuff out." What a joke.

These apartments are by far the worst. If you apply expect to have a decision in about 8-9 days as they are very unorganized and are definatley not on there A game. After being not approved they said my holding deposit would be refunded within 7 business days as i was told by Angie the manager, so i called back 8 days later and Melissa says 21 days um... Is everyone on the same page here HELLO!!!!! I also told the leasing agent Tina from the begining that i do not have good credit and she said " well if you like owe apartments anything like that its just a higher deposit.Which i do owe a apartment complex from 3 years ago because i gave the dead beat manager $1000 to break lease but it was still put on my credit. But did Angie care to ask no she was completely unprofessional and called me saying "Sorry u cant move in to our apartments" HELLO are you trained in your mannerism that's not how you speak to prospective tenants that weren't approved my dear.Anyways they are unprofessional and liars, cause when i called they said my application was taking long because they were having a hard time doing my rental verification. Total lie cause the apartments i lived in were managed by my sister in law and she never got any inquiry on my rental verification untill the day after i called them so they just took long just because they are unorganized unprofessional and discriminate. sincerely Mrs.Beal

Management is not helpful. If you have a water leak in your apartment they will tell you to call your renter insurance although is their fault. They recently hired a security company to patrol the apartments but the security office is only open from 8pm-6am. When I called them I spoke to the dispatcher and he said that the office was closed and everyone was on the field, I asked if they have been patrolling the apartments and he said yes although I have spoke to some of the tenants and they told me they have not seen security guards in two weeks. My car got broken in during the weekend and the management office doesn't want to do anything about it. There wasn't even a manager on site when this happen, I had to ask an employee to get the manager to come over and talk to me leaving my phone number with her. Manager eventually showed up to the office but didn't have the courtesy to call me and let me know she was on site I had to go back to the office just to find out she has been there for thirty minutes already just talking to the other employee. I am not the first nor last person to complaint about the management I just wish all the other tenants that have been mistreated will do the same. If you are consider to come here go to EL CAJON POLICE DEPARTMENT FIRST, GET A REPORT OF HOW MANY TIMES THEY HAVE ANSWERED CALLS IN THESE APARTMENTS FIRST. I wish I would of have done that. Good luck.
