House 5863 is, hands down, one of the best B&Bs in Chicago. They're walking distance to the loop and convenient to Broadway, Andersonville, and Clark. They're our go-to place to stay in the city and we've been staying with them since they originally were operating out of The Ardmore around the corner. Absolutely top accommodations and super reasonable rates.

Sent a friend there recently who said no one was around to help him with the wifi which was down or the inoperable TV. WORD TO THE WISE: there are much better places on the north side to stay. Also note how most 5-star reviews are from anonymous reviewers !

Just checked in this Bed & Breakfast few days ago, and I thought the rooms are so unique compared to the other Chicago Inns. Erick is a polite and awesome manager at the front desk and always sent us extra towels, toothbrushes whenever we called from our room. Just great service, clean and unique rooms. Rates weren't too bad. It's Chicago, hotels are not cheap and I found House 5863 on expedia having the best deal for the night. Anyways... I highly recommend!

This would be my first review on a hotel stay. It's because the manager and staff were so friendly and nice! Even the housekeeping was nice enough to tell me I dropped my phone under the bed, and on top of that she greeted me so kindly. Rooms were very clean and had unique style. If you're looking for a bed and breakfast in Chicago with a friendly atmosphere, I would suggest House 5863.
