Lived there for a few years. My favorite part of living there was the view of the Disneyland fireworks. I also enjoyed our neighbors around us. Great respectable tenants. Management changed far too often, so our payment records were always messed up. I would recommend ALWAYS asking for a receipt for rental payments!! Currently their management is FABULOUS under the watchful attentive and caring eyes of Danielle! She and her current staff are running an efficient office which I absolutely appreciate. I would recommend going in and speaking to her or her staff and taking a tour to see if this is a good fit for you for your new humble home!!
The only issue I have with this place is the parking. If you rent here and have more than one car or have guests over, make sure you understand the parking policies and read everything in the contract they make you sign. They only allow you one parking permit. If you park in an open space and don't have a permit, your car will be towed!!! (Even if it is registered in the system). Do not believe anything the managers/associates tell you about safe-listing your car. People in the office gave completely inaccurate information. If your car is towed, you will spend $$$ and all day to get it back. But the towing company does not come all the time. I had been living here one month before an issue occurred. Be careful of these tricksters!!! This is how they make their money.
I lived here for a year! I had some good experiences here and of course bad ones as well. When we sign the paper for a particular apt. the leasing office called and said that the current renters had backed out of moving out. (never heard of such thing, I thought once you give your notice and it has been leased, you need to be out) As you might guess the panic set in because we had already given our notice to our leasing office. Hampton said they didn't have any other apartments available at the time, so they offered the model apt. We went ahead and took it. Love the location of the apt. because we had a pool few. While there everything was fine, the neighbors are really quite, didn't really hear much noise. The maintenance people were great! Now for the negatives... While moving in I realized that both bathrooms are inside the bedroom. I didn't like that, since I don't like guest having to go through the room to get to the bathroom. The kitchen cabinets aren't great! It seems like you have a lot of cabinet space for your spices and cans, but the reality is you don't! you only have about 5 rows that only fit about 6 cans across, can't put any in the back, you can only stack them up. One of my major problems with Hampton Pointe was their parking! there was never any guest parking. they have 4 spaces available and they seem to always be taken. The club house is nice and there is no change to rent it, however.... you are not provided with any guest parking. Why would I rent the club house if there is no parking for my guest? The customer service in leasing office was horrible. They seem to always have an attitude when asked for something. You noticed that some of them had preferences with certain residents there. Lasted only 1 year.
I have lived here for 3 years and I love the community. It's in an excellent location, very centrally located, near the block, and angel's stadium. I live in the large one bedroom and it's the best priced/ largest one bedroom I've seen yet! My walk in closet is the size of a small bedroom. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends (or family lol).
My husband and I moved to CA from out of state and this was the nicest property with the lowest prices of other comparable properties in the area. We lived here for a year and loved it. The community is not too big, and it was very quiet. The managers are friendly and honest and the property is really well maintained. If something broke, it got fixed within a day. We would recommend this place to anyone.
