Honestly, I think this place is pretty great despite some minor set backs. We live on the 3rd floor so the ceilings are high and we get a nice breeze. The location is great and I feel pretty safe here. I think the best part about Lakeshore Landing is the Bre Properties management. The staff is FANTASTIC, always friendly and accommodating, quick to respond to queries and repair requests. The garbage truck is a pain and is loud but I sleep right through it now. Never had problems with thin walls. I know we have a family next door with a small baby but have never heard a peep. Not sure why this place has bad reviews but we've had a great experience here. The lake behind has a nice walking path and the basketball courts are a plus!
